Iris's POV (For those of you who are new, she's my OC):

"Where are you?!" I muttered under my breath as I fought through the waves of the undead coming at me. I knew some of them once, but I couldn't care. Where in the world is he?!

A whine came from a house, the whine of a hurt animal. I immediately changed direction and ran towards wherever the whine came from. He had to be okay. He had to be. I'll kill whoever stands in my way.

"Blue!" I shouted as I slammed open the door and found my wolf, whose name was Blue, trapped inside. Fearful growls and whines escaped him. There was a man poised above him, obviously enjoying my wolf's fear and pain.

"Stop!" I shouted, "Stop! Let him go!" The man turned with a sick grin on his face.  I sucked in a breath.

He looked mostly normal, he wore a cyan shirt, purple pants and grey shoes. He had dark brown hair and tanned skin. What threw me off were his eyes. They were a solid glowing white. I clenched my fists. Everybody knew who that man is as soon as they saw his eyes.

"Oh, so someone cares for this...... thing," Herobrine said. I fired an arrow that buried itself into the block right next to him. My hands shook.

"Let. Him. Go," I said, gritting my teeth. Herobrine had a hand gripped around Blue's neck, who growled and clawed at him. Herobrine paid no heed to that.

"You have a good aim," Herobrine noted, "You have two options. Either you fire that arrow and attempt to kill me, or you serve me and I let your wolf go. One thing to note, this wolf's pretty neck will be snapped and broken before an arrow can hit me. Your choice."

I grit my teeth in frustration. Herobrine was a nightmare told to children, and everyone knew he is fully capable of doing such a thing. My hands shook and Blue let out a whine. I shakily placed my bow on the floor and knelt. I could feel a grin creep up Herobrine's face.

"Good," He said. I could hear an excited yelp as something grey and furry crashed into my arms. I hugged Blue tightly and whispered in his ear.

"Run, boy. Run. Remember my friends? Find them, okay? You know their scent well enough to track them, can you? That's a good boy. Don't come back. Just go find them, okay?" I whispered in Blue's ears. He slumped at my words but recognized the urgency. He licked me on the hands before running out of the house. I could only hope he made it out quickly enough.

"Now don't even try to go back on your choice," Herobrine said once I looked up, "It will end badly for you. Trust me on this one. Now stand up." I slowly stood up, tears stinging my eyes.

"You will serve me with unwavering loyalty and you will be spared along with that pathetic wolf if you wish," Herobrine said, "Did I make myself clear?"

I gulped and met his gaze, "Yes, master."

Rain's POV (I don't own him. Rainimator does):

I watched the gate while two figures bolted towards the gate at full speed. I frowned when I recognize the second figure. It's a wolf with a blue collar and dismay crashed over me as I recognized the wolf. I knew his owner.

The gate slammed shut as both the wolf and Abigail slid through under it. The wolf panted. His once pure grey fur was now stained with blood. His collar barely shone blue anymore, and his owner was nowhere to be seen.

"Hey, Blue," I said, kneeling and petting the wolf, "Where's Iris?" The wolf keened and nuzzled against my feet. I glanced at Abigail.

"Anybody else?" I asked. She shook her head.

"We're the last ones left," She replied, "Everybody else is all...... dead." A sense of despair settled itself in my stomach. We're the last ones left. Just the five of us and a wolf. Just us.

<Beginning of Cold as Ice>

Blue's POV, third person (Don't judge me Blue is a smart wolf):

Blue barked, followed by a mournful howl. He failed. He wasn't a good wolf. His master needed him, but he failed her. She asked him to find, follow and protect her friends (Well she didn't say that but it was implied). He failed that too. He was a bad wolf.

His ears perked up at the sound of horse hooves. Maybe there's people on it? He knew people ride horses all the time. Poor horses. They were too dumb to do something else. Horse meat were too stringy for his taste, and people didn't like it when he chased their horses.

Blue barked louder, not sure why he did so. He wasn't part of a pack. There's nobody to call. Most likely he's just going to scare off the horses, it won't do anything good. Then something in him lit up like a lightbulb and he suddenly realized why his body made him bark, circling back to his original thoughts. He put extra effort in his barking and yelped when loud bangs filled the air. He stopped barking. Maybe he annoyed the person too much. He knew he shouldn't have barked. Master didn't like it when he barked too much. Something about not being able to sleep and sore throats. Or is it just one sore throat?

He jumped in surprise when someone suddenly appeared. The man forced some weird looking water into master's friend before picking him up. He flashed white which I recognized as what happened when he suddenly appeared. He's going to suddenly leave again. I yelped and pounced on master's friend.

"What in the--" The first man said as I jumped down from master's friend.

"The wolf probably belonged to the boy," A second man said, "Let him come. If this whole thing works, the boy would want his wolf back." I jumped around in excitement as I followed the two men and master's friend. At least I can protect him from other bad things. Like...... bad things.
