Visual Love Story 1: A Trainee's Little Secret

"Jennie hury up! The show is about to start." that's probably the tenth time I called her dahil kanina niya pa sinasabi na susunod na raw siya.

"Sino ba kasing inaabangan mo ha Jisoo?" she entered my room with an irritated expression, wearing a red nightdress while holding a huge bowl of popcorn. "Are you crushing on somebody that I don't know?" intriga niya bago umupo sa tabi ko dito sa kama.

"Wala ah." mabilis kong tanggi. "I just want to watch it and see what happens. You know we will, hopefully, fingers crossed... debut next year kaya mas maganda kung mga ganitong palabas na ang pinapanood natin para masanay tayo 'di ba?" paliwanag ko sa kanya.

She scoffed. "Palusot mo Jisoo bulok! Dinala na kaya tayo ng agency natin sa isang live music show during our third year as trainees, nakalimutan mo na ba? We witnessed how they prepare everything. From the stage's set-up to even the tiniest detail for the show. We even went to a senior idol's dressing room to ask for advice and tips on how to survive in this crazy industry." she got a handful of popcorn and shove it all into her mouth. "So tell me, sinong gusto mong panoorin?" she manage to ask kahit punong-puno yung bibig niya.

"Wala nga." deny ko parin.

With her piercing eyes, she pointed a finger at me and said, "Malalaman ko rin kung sino."

Nagsimula ang palabas nang nakatutok sa kilos ko ang mga mata ni Jennie. Now I'm feeling conscious tuloy. One wrong move or a change of facial expression, she will know kung bakit parang ikamamatay ko kapag hindi ko 'to pinanood. Control yourself Jisoo!

The groups started performing one by one. Some of them are familiar to me while the others are really not. Kilala ko naman yung dalawang host since I've been doing some public appearances in this business at nakakasalubong or nakikita ko sila. I was featured on a music video, paired up with a very popular actor for an advertisement and did a cameo for a drama. Ginagawa ito ng kompanya namin to expose me, and eventually our future group to people. Jennie's been doing it too but she's particularly on the music side. She sang a song with a well-known and respected artist that is also from our company and was the first one, among the four of us, who actually appeared in various music shows before.

When the emcees announced the next performing group, napalunok ako nang marinig ko kung sino sila. I glanced at Jennie at nakita kong nasa akin parin ang tingin niya habang sunod-sunod ang pagsubo ng popcorn. Napalunok ulit ako. Umayos ako ng upo and willed myself to act as normal as possible. But when their song started playing, halos umapaw ang excitement sa katawan ko. Hindi ko pa siya nakikta pero shet yung puso ko parang lalabas sa dibdib ko.

Oh my god! Oh my god!

"Sino sa kanila ha?" she grinned nang mapansin niyang hindi na ako mapakali sa inuupuan ko. "Yung nakahiga ba?.. ayy putek nakahiga pala silang lahat." natatawa sa sariling nilagay niya yung bowl sa bedside table. She leaned forward for a clearer view, "Yun bang umupo? Hala sino yung inuupuan niya?! Kawawa naman." ngumuso siya bago mas lalo lumapit sa tv. Nakalimutan ko namang huminga nang makita kung sino na yung kumakanta.

Tumayo na si Jennie and went really really close, almost kissing the tv screen close, and then she exclaimed, "Hala siya ba?!" I couldn't hear her anymore. Ibang boses na kasi yung naririnig ko. He's wearing a white long sleeves na pinatungan ng isang medyo mahaba at itim na parang vest and a black and white na shorts. That black hair suits him really well.

We're born on the same year pero bakit parang mas bata siya sa'kin tignan?

I'm singing along with him inside my head. I memorized all his parts and even his little gestures and movements but I almost lost my shit when he kissed the back of his hand. Damn!

I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!

"Bakit parang familiar yung face niya? Well syempre napapanood ko sila sa tv before pero do you know him personally, Jisoo? Ano nga ulit pangalan niya?" Jennie asked.

"Taehyung." tipid na sagot ko, still not getting over that sexy kiss. He looks too good that it's killing me. I have never been this attracted to a guy before. Lalo na sa mga idols. Not even to actors or models. Sa kanya lang talaga. Kim Taehyung, what did you do to me?

"Kinikilig ka?"

"Oo." wala sa sariling sagot ko.

"I knew it!" Jennie jumped off the bed, her fist punching up in the air. "Diba may mutual friends kayo na modelo? Kaya pala pamilyar yung mukha niya. He's that cute guy in the picture you showed me years ago. Crush mo siya 'diba?"

My eyes widen. "Hindi ko siya crush!" tanggi ko agad. "A-no lang, nagagwapuhan lang, ganun." nauutal na sagot ko. Pero sa ngisi palang nitong kaibigan ko, halatang hindi siya naniniwala. Hindi naman siguro ipagkakalat ni Jennie 'diba? I mean she will probably tell the other girls. Pero hindi naman niya siguro ipagsasabi sa mga kaibigan niyang kilala si Taehyung?

Right? I sighed. I hope so.

"Oh ba't nalungkot ka bigla?"

Ewan ko haha. Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit. I shrugged and smiled. Jennie looked at me blankly for a while. I can't read what's on her mind. May binabalak ba siya?

"How old is he?"

I told her that we were born on the same year. She looked at me again and said nothing. Honestly, natatakot na ako sa kanya. What is she thinking?

"Sooooo.. anong balak mo?"

"Balak sa ano?"

"Sa feelings mo? Hahaha. What do you plan to do with it?"

"Itatago?"

Jennie laughed. "I don't think you can hide it honey."

Alam mo, feeling ko hindi naman to magtatagal. Maybe I'm just attracted to him because I don't know him really well. I haven't seen him in person. Hindi ko pa siya nakakausap.

Attraction lang ba talaga 'to?

NOTE:

The part three of ACCIDENT will be delayed for quite a long time because I don't know how to continue it. It's going to be the last part and I don't know how to end it.

I was really hoping na sila na yung irereveal ng dispatch this month hahahaha. Delulu lvl 10001. But I'm also happy for Heechul and Momo's relationship (tho they were not really caught by dispatch hahaha). I hope the day would come when Idols can freely date who they want to date. Fingers crossed. Let VSOO be real hahahaha.
