My Diamond, my Spinel! {Steven X Spinel Fanfic)

Staying For the Night and Into The Unknown

–Steven's POV–

After I went back to earth, I still had Spinel in my mind, I just couldn't get her out ever since that moment but I promised I would come back to go see her. As I walked home, I heard the gems voice and... Connie's... I sighed a bit in frustration but decided to heaves drop just for a bit, won't be any trouble anyway. "Connie I'm telling you we haven't seen Steven today!" "Yeah dude, he's just been on home world with The Diamonds, chill. " I heard Pearl and Amethyst's voice, "Well I don't care he's MY boyfriend and I NEED to talk to him, just because he's a stupid 'Pink diamond' doesn't mean he have to be there with the diamonds all the dang time! " Connie's voice raised. "I'm not your boyfriend, we broke up. " I said soon after I smacked the door open but my whole body was Pink, "Steven Calm down. " Garnet said as I slowly did calm down but I was angry that she called me stupid. "Connie get the hell out my house please... " I said wanting her to just disappear, "I'm not leaving until we fix this whole thing! " "Nothing needs to be fixed because I told you were over. " I said as I was at my limits again, "What? Is it because of that stupid Pink naive gem?! She's just a Whortless gem!!" Now that was the last straw, I forcefully punched the whole making a big hole "Get the fuck out my house.. " I said turning pink again. 'I'm not letting her speak bullshit behind MY spinel... ' I thought and saw her scared face, which I groaned in frustration that she didn't budge. She seemed to have gotten the catch and went out running, I sighed and looked at my hand it was injured but it hurt a bit, I sat down on the couch Amethyst coming beside to reassure me. "Hey it's okay Stevie! We won't let her come here in the temple! " "I'm sure she won't come back after awhile, but I'm sure something will await you Steven, something... Special.. " Garnet soon said after amethyst and bended her Visors a bit to show her one eye in the middle who winked at me as she smirked. I didn't know what she meant but whatever it is, it's probably very special and as first instinct I thought of Spinel but shrugged it off 'damn she's going to drive me crazy, what the fuuuuuuuuuuudge is wrong with me. ' I thought not wanting to curse in my mind.

After talking with the gems about my day, I went up my room wanting to take a rest. But ended up falling asleep.

–Dream–

I opened my eyes and looked forward, but realized I was running towards someone, they looked so familiar.
"Steven!! " The voice was so familiar I looked up and saw a giggling person, I looked at them of curiosity till I saw them tackling me. I toke a small glimpse of who it was and it was her... My princess... I smiled and catched her as she jumped up to me, swiftly spinning around with her "Steven I missed you! " She said, I laughed a bit "I've only been out for a few minutes and you miss me already that much... spinel." I said and kissed her forhead as she blushed giving me a cute pouty face. "Can't a Spinel miss her Diamond. " She said  still acting mad, I laughed a bit"Hmm let me think.... " I said then softly kissed her and she kissed me back feeling her radiant pure beautiful hair blow with the wind. As we pulled back we brought each other's nose together, "My diamond... " She said and I smiled bringing her close, "My Spinel... " I replied as I spinned her around ,her still in my arms.

"Steven...."

"Steven..!"

"Steven don't let them take me!!!! "

–Dream end–

I woke from my dream and noticed amethyst beside me as she was yelling my name, 'that dream was so perfect but it felt so real....yet why did she mean "don't let them take me" ' I thought as I holded the place where my heart would be. I sighed and looked at Amethyst "What's up Amethyst? " I asked as she handed me a tiny Communicator, "The diamonds are calling. " She said as she left the room after. I answered and looked at the screen that formed in front of me showing only Blue Diamond "Steven! " She called and I waved, "Hi Blue, so what's up? " After I said that she sighed, "It's spinel, she has been hiding something and we don't know what it is could you possibly pass by, and help to let out her pain or whatever it might be..? " She asked me with her sift voice I nodded and had the idea to spend the night. "Sure I'll come!" I said smiling through the communicator at Blue and she smiled as well, "Great! You can come later if you want! " She said and I nodded then we said our goodbyes, quickly starting packing clothes for tonight.

After explaining the gems I needed a bit of break for tonight, having Amethyst and Pearl trying to change my mind but luckily Garnet used her visors and saw everything will turn out well. I smiled and left on to the Green house (if that's the name xd) warping to the diamonds throne room.

–Spinel POV–

I sighed and closed my eyes. "Are you okay, Spinel. " Blue P asked me, "Yeah just tired I guess. " I replied unsure but my whole body bolted up in excitement when I heard the war pad, I didn't really care what was around me anymore and soon jumped on the person who always make me feel better. "Steven!! Your back!! " I yelled happily ,"Of course I told you I'll come back later earlier! " He replied soon having me in his arms.

As we walked down the hallway like last time, this time not going out, he talked to me about his momento with the Human Connie, aka 'Shitty Bitch' as Steven calls her, we cracked some jokes together until I heard something....

"Oooooh~.... "

There was a voice singing, I shook my head ignoring it, Steven looked at me Confused."Is everything alright, Spinel? " "Y-yeah I'm fine Stevie, just tired, ya know. " I replied, 'I don't want Stevie to worry about me.. He's done so much... I'll be a burden probably.. ' I thought as he nodded taking my hand and leading us trough the Hallway bringing me to Pinks old room, now my room now. When we arrived Steven was a bit Silent but I could've sworn I saw him glow for a bit but ignored it going into the bed falling asleep as I made contact with it, but before I fell asleep Steven layed down beside me and kissed my forhead.

But the thing that annoyed me a bit is the voice again...

–1 hour later–

'Aah, ooh... '

I grunter a bit and tossed around on my bed.

'Aah oooh~'

I groaned in frustration and opened my eyes getting up, looking at Steven I got out gently closing the door.

".. I can hear you... But I won't... Some look for trouble, while others don't.. " I responded walking to a close big glass that reflected my form. "There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day and ignore your whispers which I wish would go away, oh-oh~" I  walked through the hallway.

'Aah ooh'

"Aah ooh~" I replied hoping it leaves but it copied me. 'Aah ooh' I rolled my eyes and kept walking, "Your not a voice, your just ringing in my ear, " I flipped my pigtails, "And if I heard you, which I don't, I'm spoken for, I fear. " I saw a balcony not far away from me and made my way towards it opening the doors, "Everyone I've ever loved, is here within these walls, I'm sorry secret siren but I'm blocking out your calls. I've had my adventure, I don't need something new. I'm afraid of what im risking,  if I follow you-" I looked at the stars in the sky looking at it in awe. "Into the Unknown~! Into the unknown~! Into the unknown~~~! " I singed,'Aah ooh~' , soon realizing that the voice was probably tricking me I went back inside but soon went out the palace. "What do you want...? Cause you've been keeping me awake. Are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake? " I asked but looked up the sky again feeling a wave of sadness over me as I saw a lot of butterflies, "Or are you someone out there who's a little bit like me?  Who knows deep down,  I'm not where I meant to be.." I asked again,(no way in hell I'm continuing this Spinel aint gunna be a god here XD) I sighed as the voice didn't coke back I felt a wash of relief soon knowing why it brought me outside, 'always tell the person you care about your problem's ' it whispered and I smiled. "will I ever be able to meet you one day... ? " I asked out, 'I can't show myself... You have to come to me.. '  it replied, I nodded feeling a wave of confident.. "Tell the person you care about , your problems... " I whispered and felt my gem glow a bit. I gasped loudly, "I'm really sorry voice! But I have to go or I'll be punished for going out tonight this late! " I said quickly running back in the palace to my room (and Steven) and saw Steven still asleep, sighing in relief I layed down beside him. I stared at Steven's face for awhile and blush madly, burying my face into his chest slowly falling asleep.

"Goodnight.. spinel.. "
