Jooheon looked at his phone and read a text from Kyun that said to go to the living room. He quickly finished the conversation he was having and walked over, the other guys were already there.
"Hey, what's this surprise?" Jooheon asked failing to contain his smile.
"Here just watch," Said Changkyun as he paused the music that was playing through out the apartment. He picked up the remote to the tv and turned it on. Seconds later a video popped up that was titled "Happy Birthday Jooheon" and the thumbnail was Kyun sitting in a dim room. He pressed play and a soft melody started to play. What soon followed made Jooheon's heart flutter. It was Changkyun singing.
As he watched he couldn't help but start blushing. Kyun looked adorable in the video. He was simply just sitting wearing all black as usual and singing. But that didn't stop Jooheon from feeling a warm sensation in his chest. Changkyun in his most simple form had that effect in him. He had realized this by now but never spoke of it and just ignored it, playing it off as his simple love for his best friend.
But Changkyun really gave him the best gift, a gift full of thought and love. Kyun was never confident in his singing. The boy was talented with composing music and producing, obviously. But he refused to sing for anyone. And Jooheon couldn't help but feel like the most special person in that moment. Because Kyun chose to sing for him.
