I had everything I every wanted, but I was grateful for everything I got. I had a huge house with a beautiful glistening pool that overhanged with a magnificent view of the harbour. I had a 4 story house with an elevator inside. My room was giant, and inside my room I had a king size water bed, a flat screen tv, an apple mac, a walk in wardrobe, 'ELLIE' written in big bold letters in my room, a wonderful view of the harbour, a pink recliner and couch and lastly lots of pink toys, rugs etc. My life was totally, utterly perfect!

I woke up to the sound of my radio playing my favourite song on a Wednesday morning at 7am. It was early December and school was still going. Only a couple more days until Summer holidays. I put on my Navy blue school dress and went up in the elevator to level 3  for breakfast. I had a healthy mango and strawberry smoothie and nourishing 'Special K.'

"How are you this morning Mum?" I asked

Mum sighed "Good, how about you honey?"

When mum said that, I knew that she was lying and she was really exhaused and tired but I'm not sure why. I didn't bother to ask why, because I knew she would reply 'Um, uh, nothing is wrong sweetie, well um nothing you need to know about.' or something like that.

"I'm great, excited for the holidays!"

Mum and I went to the garage and hopped in my soon to be, pink Mercedes Benz. We had 4 cars. The pink Mercedes is for me, when I am able to drive, the silver porsche is my Dad's, the black Alfa Romeo is my Mum's and the Blue BMW is my brother Jake's car, when he is old enough to drive. On our way to school we picked up my best friends Macy and Laura.

"Hey Ellie" Macy said as she hopped in the car

"Hey"

"So close till the holidays!" Macy said

"I know, can't wait!" I replied

Mum glanced in the rear view mirror and bit her lip nervously. I don't think I was meant to look in the mirror, because as soon as I looked mum turned back to the road and smiled. I'm not sure what is going on with mum today because she is acting very strange.

We picked up Laura and then we drove to school and arrived at 8:25 with 5 minutes to spare.
