Villainous Nightmare (BakuDeku story)

Chapter 3

"I think it's a wonderful idea, Izuku!"

"That means that I'd be moving out, mom!"

"Well, you are grown up now." Izuku sighed and hung his head at his mother's remark.

Izuku and Katsuki decided to visit Inko so she could help Katsuki convince Izuku to move in with him. Because of his never-ending nightmares, Izuku is being reluctant. He knows his mom has a quirk that allows her to have small things 'float' to her. If need be, she could always have something close to her incase something was to happen. It's also one of the reasons why Katsuki had picked the location where his apartment is. The apartment is not even a ten minute walking distance to Inko's apartment. With Izuku's and Katsuki's quirks, they could make that ten minutes more like two or three minutes. 

Since Izuku and Katsuki were small children, Katsuki considered Inko like his second mom. There were multiple times where he would hall her 'mom' cause she had insisted. Every time he does this, Izuku's face flushed a bright red. The fact that his boyfriend calls his mother 'mom' sends happy images through his head. It made Izuku think they were already married even though Katsuki had done this not long after they had started dating.

Inko and Mitsuki have already planned their children's wedding since they were kids. Mitsuki had always known how her son's 'explosive' emotions were. She knew how upset he was when he and Izuku had their falling out. Mitsuki remembers how many times her son would wake up in the middle of the night, crying out for Izuku. Izuku was unaware of this. Only Inko knew. The mothers worried for their sons, knowing how much pain they were in without the other. When they found out their sons were dating, they were overjoyed and threw a celebration. Inko and Mitsuki saw how soft and loving their sons were to each other. After the celebration, the women had found Katsuki and Izuku had curled up on the couch together, with their fingers intertwined, and fell asleep. The mothers had placed a blanket on them and took multiple pictures.

Inko had been happy for her son since he and Katsuki started dating. Katsuki had changed and had showed her how much. Every time he would come over to visit, Katsuki would help her with dinner or any other chore she needed to do. One day, Katsuki had decided to tell Inko about what he did to her son. She was upset at him about what all he had confessed to. That day, Izuku had walked in on their conversation and explained to his mom how much Katsuki had changed since then. Izuku had even explained that Katsuki was the one who convinced him to go to therapy for his depression from his past and his break-up with Shoto. He had told his mother that Katsuki had given him a reason to live. She saw the pained expression Katsuki wore on his face as he confessed. She also saw how shocked his ruby eyes were when her son defended him. The determined look in Izuku's bright green eyes showed her that they truly cared for the other. Her mood had softened as she hugged the both of them. Izuku and Inko were usually the emotional ones, but this particular night, even Katsuki shed tears as he kept telling the both of them how sorry he was.

The memories of those days flooded to her as she was told that Katsuki had asked Izuku to live with him. She is aware of her son's nightmares and knows that Katsuki would be there for Izuku when they acted up. She understands why her son is so worried about moving out and leaving her alone. Honestly, as his mother, she doesn't like her child leaving the nest. It's a mother's duty to make her child feel safe. She knows that he is a lot older and should move out, but she worries. Katsuki had even bowed, with his forehead touching the ground just like Toshinori had done when their school had made the dorms for the students. Toshinori had promised her that Izuku would be safe. Now, Katsuki is making that very same promise. Both Inko and Katsuki know that if Izuku doesn't leave the house for a little bit, then his nightmares will eat him up and he would never leave.
