Wren shifted on the couch, nearly falling off.
Phoenix pushed her back up, turning her around so her face was to the backrest.
"I woke her up yesterday. Lance, you do it." Silas glanced at his older brother, and Lance shot him a dirty look.
"Phoenix?"
"I'm using the eldest sibling card now. Sorry Lance." Phoenix shrugged unapologetically, sneaking a peek at Wren.
"You guys owe me a croissant then." Lance grumbled.
Just as soon as he moved to wake Wren up, she got up and stretched, yawning as she sat up.
"You guys argue too loud." Wren mumbled, loosely tying her hair back.
"Let's go to school today." Wren said.
"Go to what?" Lance asked, eyes widened.
Silas rushed over to her side, placing a hand on her forehead.
"No fever, but do you feel sick anywhere?" Silas asked, cupping her face in his hands.
Wren slapped away his hands, frowning at her brothers.
"I'm bored." Wren shrugged, casting her puppy eyes to Phoenix.
"That doesn't work on me, but sure. School can't hurt us anyway." Phoenix stated nonchalantly.
Half an hour later, all 4 siblings were dressed and showered.
"Isn't that a bit much for school?" Wren asked, frowning at Lance's leather jacket.
"The ladies love a little leather."
Wren rolled her eyes, sitting still as Silas braided her hair.
She slipped a pearl barrette, keeping the loose strands of hair in place.
"Shall we?"

"Why's your jaw hanging?" Sebastian asked.
"The Alexakis brothers came to school." Liam answered in a whisper.
"And?" Sebastian pressed.
"They literally never show up, except for exams. And they always get the highest marks." Liam replied, staring at the 3 brothers shamelessly.
Silas stopped in front of Liam, his face stoic.
"Is there something you want to say?" Silas asked, narrowing his eyes on the boy in front of him.
"No-" Liam squeaked before clearing his throat, looking away.
"Nope." He tried for a nonchalant shrug, but it only managed to look like a freakish jerk.
Silas' face became expressionless, walking to his locker with his brothers behind him.
A younger girl, with silky braided hair followed after them, a small smile on her face.
Lance Alexakis -the second brother- turned around, grabbing the girl to walk beside him.
Audible gasps erupted in the hallway, turning deathly quiet as she scowled at him.
"I can walk on my own." She snarled, pushing Lance with unexpected strength.
"Easy, Wren. You've never been to a public school before." Lance reasoned, pulling her to him again.
He leaned down, whispered something in her ear and she burst out laughing.
"Who's that?" Sebastian whispered to Liam.
"Lance's new girlfriend maybe? Rumour has it he changes girls every 2 weeks. But he never initiates PDA." Liam murmured the last part to himself, but Sebastian heard it loud and clear.
As the Alexakis brothers and the mysterious girl went into their classes, the hallway became noisy, gossip and speculations running wild.
"Wait. So the Alexakis brothers are triplets?" Sebastian asked, as he saw all three walk into one class.
"Yeap. Fraternal, obviously." Liam stated, shouldering his bag as he walked into class.
Liam stopped where he was, staring at the window seat occupied by someone else.
He walked up to the girl, her head low with her earphones plugged in.
"Excuse me. This is my seat." Liam stated, frowning at the girl.
She took out an earphone and looked up at him.
The same girl who had been close to Lance was staring him in the face.
"Really? Fascinating, how you think you get to decide anything with me around." She replied, smiling.
