Aljeona's POV
It's my first week here at States, I immediately left after our graduation and guess what? I'm the valedictorian. pinilit kong umalis kahit masakit kasi wala din naman akong choice, gusto din kasi ni daddy na makasama nya ako. si mommy nasa Pinas parin with kuya argh I really miss them na.
"Aj baby, Good morning. It's your first day at school" wika ni Dad.
"Good morning Dad!" sabi ko sakanya habang niyayakap sya, namiss ko lang talaga si daddy.
Nagmadali na kong maligo at sinuot ang blue colored uniform namin, bumaba na din ako para sabay kaming kumain ni daddy.
"Be a good girl Aj and don't ever get a boyfriend, I know your hurt but this is for your own sake please?" sinabi ni Dad para mabasag ang katahimikan.
I'm always like this not so cheerful anymore and became silent. I miss my old self, my friends, Mom and Kuya, school. After what happened I kinda built a wall around me so that I won't get attached or hurt, 'cause I.. I thought he's the one.
Ihahatid nako lagi ni daddy bago sya pumasok sa trabaho pero depende na sa sundo kasi late sya lagi nauwi.
"Bye Dad, Love you!"
"I love you too Aj baby, take care of yourself"
"I will"
Pumasok na ko sa bago kong school but it's still CDM but here in States, madami kasing branch yung school na 'to kasi famous yun hindi lang sa Pinas kundi sa buong mundo.
What's with the people here? It's like their staring at me like a food when they're hungry, dumadaan ako sa hallway nang..
"Oops, I got you. are you okay miss?" tanong 'sakin ng isang lalaking may green na mata, pretty.
The fudge?! ano ba meron at lagi nalang ako nadudulas sa may hallway! It's my first day pa naman sa school argh nakakahiya omg
"Oh, I'm okay. Thanks"
"Your new here, right?"
"Yup"
"Oh so you're the famous Aljeona Velasquez? The daughter of Brian Velasquez??" May pagka-excited ang pagtatanong nya saakin.
"That's me but I'm not sure about the famous thing"
"Oh you're quite famous here, you see your father is a professor here. and the students love him"
"WHAT?! I'M THE DAUGHTER HERE AND I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS??"
"I'm sorry, akala ko alam mo" Well he's cute, I can tell.
"Maalam ka pala mag tagalog! nosebleed na ko sayo"

"Uhm what's with the formality? Just call me Aj. and you are?"
