Dear Diary,
Today was pretty...uh...interesting? First when I got to school it was silent. The halls were full of people running and smashing into things, but all I could hear were the whispers of gossip trying not to be heard over all the ruckus. Then, when I walked into my first period, it was like a bomb, or something, went off. There was papers and other school supplies everywhere, almost all the students in my class were asleep, I hoped, on the floor, and the students that weren't unconscious, were hanging from the ceiling like bats. After the first bell rang, everything had gone back to normal. I swear I wasn't hallucinating. Why would I be? I don't do any drugs and I'm not on any medication for my ADHD. Every time the bell rang, the same events stopped, and started again; And when I got home from school, there was a small rectangular package wrapped in a iridescent black material, with red ribbon surrounding. Attached to the package, was it note. It read "because it's going to happen anyway...".
Nothing more than that was written. Just the one, cryptic message. I'm haven't opened it yet. I'm not going to either. There's something off about it. Something not so obvious.
Anyway, I gotta go eat dinner, clean up, then do my chores, followed by homework. God I hate Mr. Hase. He always gives so much homework.Sincerely, Hazel.
