{Deku PoV:}
Deku sighed, looking out the window. He was extremely bored. He wasn't even sure why he'd agreed to pretend to be All Might's successor. He wasn't anything like All Might thought he was. How everyone thought he was.
"Deku? Are you alright? What are you staring at?" The peppy brunette asked him.
Oh right... her. Uraraka..? Right, that was her name. Annoying.
"It's nothing! I just zoned out." He smiled at her.
"You were mumbling again!" She smiled back cheerfully.
"Oh! Sorry!" He laughed, sounding nervous.
I can't wait until I don't have to deal with this anymore...
He glanced to the right,  past Uraraka. His eyes caught on a certain redhead. An odd twinge of something exciting, and energetic rushed through him. A faint blush crawled over his pale skin, as he shook the feeling away, unnerved.
"Mr. Aizawa, May I go to the bathroom..?" He asked his homeroom teacher. Aizawa paused his lesson briefly, nodding to him. Deku hurried away from Uraraka, passing Kirishima on the way. Almost without thinking, he tapped his desk. Kirishima looked up, confused. Deku sighed, nodding towards the door, and Kirishima's eyes brightened in understanding.
As Deku walked down the hallway, he pulled a handheld radio out of his pocket.
"Is it going to be soon? I can't take much more of this acting." He sighed.
"Patience. Remember what you're there for."
"Yeah, yeah, I know." He sighed, putting the radio away. He entered the boy's bathroom, leaning against the wall, waiting for Kirishima.
The redhead burst into the bathroom about five minutes later.
"Sorry that took a bit! Anyways, what did you wanna talk about?" He smiled sheepishly.
"Not much, just bored. Besides, that class is just a review. Wanna skip?" He tilted his head.
"...are you sure that's an ok idea..?" He looked down, unsure.
"We'll be fine!" Deku smiled.
"I mean... it is just a review... sure, why not!" Kirishima smiled back, making Deku feel that excited rush again.
They walked out into the hallway carefully, heading for the stairs to the roof.
As soon as they got to the roof, Deku tripped, nearly falling down the stairs. Kirishima caught his hand quickly, pulling him up.
"You good bro..?" He tilted his head.
"Uh... yeah..." Deku didn't let go of his hand, even as they reached the rooftop. He felt immensely confused, and a tad annoyed with this odd feeling he got around Kirishima. He shook it off, realizing he was still holding his hand. He still didn't let go, watching Kirishima's face. He was looking out over the trees, to the shiny skyscrapers, and sparkling water.
"I've never been up here..." he sounded breathless, a faint blush on his cheeks. Deku's heart fluttered, and he smiled.
"It's cool, isn't it? I come up here a lot." Deku tilted his head.
"You know... not many people actually know we're allowed up here... just me and you actually." He froze, realizing what he'd done. This was his safe place, up here.
He'd never invited anyone else up here, or mentioned it at all. He'd always imagined it'd feel less safe if there was someone else here, but strangely, it was the opposite. He felt safer with Kirishima.
This made him come to another realization, one that made him drop Kirishima's hand like it was on fire.
He, Izuku Midoriya, was catching feelings for the one and only Kirishima.
