'Afternoon Sir! Is there anything I can help you with?' These words were said by a beautiful girl at a clothing store, she was short with darkskin and deep brown eyes. Her uniform didn't show much of her body but she looked to be curvy. After staring at her for a while I managed to say 'Not at the moment, I'll shout if I need something.'
As I was browsing through the shoes section I started thinking about her smile, it was breathtaking to say the least. But a part of me knew she was just doing her job and probably didn't think of me as nothing but another teenager in a shop. It's not like people know you exist unless they need tech help.
I finally picked up some flip flops and went to pay. When I got to the counter there she was chatting to another customer showing off that smile. I learnt that her name was Naledi thanks to her name tag, not that I'd have had the balls to ask her name. As I was in my own world I heard someone say 'next customer please!' I looked around and realised that I was next in line. Well done, you may have come accross as a random guy now she thinks you're weird. She made small talk as she was packing and I managed to tell her that she has a beautiful smile. She flashed that smile while thanking me and handed me the plastic along with the receipt and my change.
Before I could get out of the shop I felt an urge to talk to her more but I didn't wanna embrass myself. Against my better judgement I went back and she tensed up when she saw me. 'Is everything alright?' She asked with concern. Shit, she must think that she made a mistake. Things are about to get awkward here. 'No everything is okay actually.' She looked relaxed now but curious. 'I was wondering if would.....'. She interfered after what felt like an eternity as ai was battling to speak my mind,'I'm all ears.'
'Sorry about that, it's just that I don't usually talk to people, anyway I was wondering if we could have lunch today if possible.' You did it boy.
'My shift ends in about 20 minutes and I'm hungry so I don't see why not.' Don't ruin this I say to myself.
'Let me roam around a bit, I'll meet you at Mc Donald's in 25 minutes.'
With that I headed for the door with a huge grin on my face. Relax, she just agreed to lunch not a marriage proposal.
