My alarm goes off and it read 6:00 a.m. I groan as I get up and trudge to the bathroom to get ready. When I finished I went downstairs and fix some eggs and orange juice.
As I'm eating, I hear my roommate, Lizzie, going down the stairs. "Good morning." She said. "Good morning." I say in reply. Lizzie fixes breakfast for herself while I doze off. "You ok?" She said. "Yeah, i'm just really tired and I don't wanna deal with Maddie today." "You'll get through it." Lizzie says. Once I'm done with breakfast, I check the time. It read 6:50. "Shit, I'm gonna be late." I rush to my car and drove to my work.
When I arrived it was just a regular boring day at the coffee shop. "Late again, I see." Maddie says with a evil smile on her face. Man, I just wanna slap that smile off her face. I rolled my eyes and said "I don't wanna deal with your shit today Maddie." Maddie raised an eyebrow. "Oh, somebody's cranky this morning." I rolled my eyes. "Shove off." "Wow, you sure do roll your eyes a lot." "Maddie, if you don't get out of my face I'm gonna do something that will get me fired." "Whatever." Maddie walked away.
"Finally she's gone" I whispered to myself.
The first costumer came so I had to put a fake smile on and get through the day. After I closed the shop I rushed out the door but I bumped into somebody.
"I'm so sor-" the man that I accidentally bumped into was SUPER good-looking, he had dark skin and beautiful brown eyes. I don't know how long I've been staring but I stopped when he said "Are u okay?" "Uh um y-yeah, yeah I-I'm ok. A-are u ok?" "Yeah I'm good. What's your name?" He looked my up and down and smiled. I felt like my knees were gonna give in.
"M-my name is O-Olivia" "beautiful name." I looked down, smiling, trying to hide my blushing cheeks but failing. "T-thank you." "Your welcome." "What's yours?" "Michael." Oh well i-it was nice meeting you michael." "It was nice meeting you too Olivia." After that he left. I walked off smiling.
When I came home Lizzie was making dinner. "Hey Lizzie, what are you making?" I said "oh I'm just making spaghetti, nothing special" "mmmm smells good I'm starving" Lizzie turned around to set the table and saw that I was smiling big and still blushing. "Why are you smiling so much, did you meet someone special today?" She said with a smirk on her face. I blushed even more."girllll you look like a tomato!" We both laughed. "Oh stop it, I probably never going to see him again." I say disappointed. "Oh you will, what if he comes to the coffe shop?!"
"There's a slim chance of that happening though"
"Well then tell me all the tea sis! So, how did you guys meet in the first place?" Still blushing very hard I say. "Well after I closed the shop I rushed out the door and I accidentally bumped into a man named Michael." "Oooo is he cute?" She asked. "Hell yeah he is." we giggled. "So nothing really happened but I got butterflies all in my stomach. I haven't felt those in a long time." "Ooooo girl I'm so happy for you! You finally found someone!" "Yeah, finally haha."
