I told lizzie the story and her reaction was priceless. "Oooo girl you makin' moves! Lizzie said. We laughed. "Imma go take a shower and go to bed." I said. "Ok Im gonna stay down here, goodnight!" "Ok,

After I was done with my shower, I laid in bed. I couldn't stop thinking about Michael. "We almost kissed " I said out loud smiling.
As I was drifting off to sleep I hear my phone ringing. I groaned as I opened my eyes.
"Hello?" I said. "Hey is this Olivia?" The voice said. "Yes, who is this?" "It's Michael" "oh, uh how did you get my number?" I asked " dont worry about it. I have my ways." Michael laughed nervously. "Um ok haha. So, Why did you call?" "I don't know I just can't get you off my mind lately. Ever since we bumped into each other, I've been thinking about you I just needed to call you." I smiled. "Me too." Michael sighed. "You know, we never talked about you on the date." I raised an eyebrow with a smirk on my face. "Oh, so it was a date?" "Yeah." He replied. I giggled. "We should do that again sometime." "Yeah we should." I looked at the time.
"Mich-" I was about to say. "Hey olivia I thought you were going to sleep." Lizzie said. " do u not know how to knock? And I was until michael called me." "He called you?" She said smiling. "Yeah." "Ooooo what's he saying?!?" "Lizzie not right now." I said laughing.
"Well I'll let you go talk to him." Lizzie said smirking. I laughed. "Yeah ok, and don't stand at the door to hear our conversation." "Aw man, how'd you know?" "Lizzie, you're my best friend and my roommate. I know you so well." "Well your right abt that. Ok, imma go to sleep, bye." "Bye." I replied.
"Who was that?" Michael asked. "That was my best friend, Lizzie." "Oh, does she know me?" "Uh well ummm she knows what's going on with us." Michael laughed. "Oh so you've been talking about us." Michael said smirking. "Well yeah, she's my best friend what do you expect? I tell her everything." we laughed.
I looked at the time again, it was 12:30. "Shit, It's late, ugh and I hate getting up in the morning." "Oh I'm sry I kept you up." "Oh no, no it's not your fault."
"Ok, well I'll let you go. Bye, goodnight." "Bye Michael, Goodnight."
I went to bed smiling, but dreading to wake up tomorrow.
The next day
Once again, I heard my alarm go off but I turned it off. "You know what, I'm just gonna call in sick. I don't care I'm way to tired to go to work." I said to my self. I looked over to my phone and grabbed it. I saw a text from Michael saying "good morning, beautiful." I smiled. "Good morning, Michael." I replied back. After I replied to Michaels text, I called my boss. "Hello?" My boss said. "Hi, it's olivia. Um I woke up not feeling well and I don't think I'm going to work today." I lied. My boss sighed in anger. "Fine, but ur gonna do extra work to make up for it when u come back." I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Ok." After that he hung up without saying goodbye. "Ugh what a good boss he is." I say in sarcasm.
I did my regular routine for the morning and went downstairs. Lizzie wasnt up surprisingly. She usually is always up before me. I went back upstairs to check on her. "Hey Lizzie, are you ok?" I said concerned. Lizzie looked up at me with tears running down her face "Um yeah, yeah I'm good." She said wiping the tears away quickly. "Sis no you aren't, what happened?" " nothing happened I'm fine." "Lizzie." I sat on the bed and lookedh deep in her eyes holding her hands. "Ok, ok. I'll tell u." Lizzie bursted into tears. "Shhhh it's ok, take all the time you need." After a few minutes lizzies sobs subsided. "Matthew broke up with me." Lizzie said. Matthew is her boyfriend. "Aw I'm so sry." I hugged her. "These few weeks we have been fighting and fighting about the littlest things and we were never on the same page.maybe it was just best for both of us, but deep down I really cared for him. I wish we could've worked things out." She said "Lizzie why didn't you tell me?" Lizzie looked down. "I didn't tell you cuz you were so happy when you met Michael and I didn't want you to worry about me and bring the mood down." "Oh Lizzie you are more important than Michael. best friends before boys." We laughed. "Oh I guess your right." I got up from the bed. "Oh don't you have work?" Lizzie asked. "No I called in sick. There's no way in hell that I'm going to work today. #1, I'm tired, and #2 I'm gonna hang out with you today cuz a stupid boy broke your heart and We are gonna have some fun."
I went down the stairs to make breakfast Lizzie and I. After breakfast was made, I brung it up to lizzies bedroom. Lizzie was getting ready for the day. I set the breakfast down on her bedside table. "I made you breakfast." Lizzie looked out from her bathroom. "Aw thank you so much." "You're welcome." I walked out the room to get ready. I came back to my room to find another text from Michael. "What are you doing today?" He texted." I'm spending time with my friend, she's going through a break up so I'm cheering her up by going shopping." "Aw i hope she feels better soon!" "Yeah me too." i started to get ready for the day.
