Roomies

"Wake up loser!" I hear someone yell as my bed bops up and own. I rub my eyes and I see Alyssa jumping up and down on my bed."Wh- what the hell!" I say and Alyssa plops down on my side. 'Oww!' I screech out 'Ouu I am so so sorry.' she says "Why are you in here? And why did you wake me up?" I question "I dunno, I kind of just wanted to annoy you." She says giggling "you are a little bitch." I tell her and she hits me with a pillow. She lays in my bed and cuddles for me with a little bit, it is nice having my sister around. Our silence is interrupted when my phone goes off indicating that I got a text. I pick it up and read it. 

Taylor: Hey do you want to get breakfast? I could pick you up.

Me: Yeah, sure is 8:00 a good time?

Taylor: Yeah that's great see you later!

I was about to put my phone down when Alyssa asks who I was texting, "My new friend and teammate Taylor." I tell her "well that's nice. What did she want?" Alyssa asks "Oh we had dinner last night and she wanted to get breakfast this morning." I tell her "Oh that's nice, It is good that you are making friends with your teammates." Alyssa tells me with a smile. She gets out of my bed and goes into my restroom to probably take a shit. I get up and open up the blinds and find an outfit. "Holy shit Teagan!" I hear Alyssa scream from the restroom. "What happened?" I ask frantically. I hear the toilet flush and the water from the faucet turn on, then she walked out with her phone in her hand. "Teagz you didn't tell me that this so called 'friend' Taylor Ray is like super hot!" Alyssa tells me "I mean she is pretty, but I wouldn't drool over her." I say "Plus I am not ready to date, also she is my FRIEND!" I say emphasizing friend. "Whatever you say boo!" Alyssa says as she walks out of my hotel room. I just laugh at her and start getting ready for the day, I brushed my teeth and washed my face. For some odd reason it was kind of cold outside today so I threw on a UCLA sweatshirt and black skinny jeans. I pulled my white air force 1's out of my suitcase and slipped them on. I look at my phone and see that I still have an hour left until Taylor was to pick me up. I decided to braid my hair into boxer braids, I have done them many times before so they wont take me long. After about 30 minuets I have finished my braids so I just wait around. I put my black stud ear rings in and I get a text from Taylor. 

Taylor: Hey I am here. I don't know if your ready but I am here no need to rush I will wait outside. 

Me: I am read, I'll be down inna bit.

I quickly grab my lanyard and my key card and head down stairs. I get into the lobby and I see Taylors car parked outside. I walk up to it and open the door. "hey Taylor!" I say as I buckle my seatbelt. On the way to the breakfast place Taylor was playing her music and we were just laughing and joking around. We arrived at the breakfast place and it was really cute. We found a table and sat down. Taylor had her hair up in a bun, she wore a black Nike hoodie and blue jeans. We ordered our drinks she got a coffee and I got a smoothie. "So... I have been wondering if you would want to be my roommate for freshman year?" Taylor asks. "Yeah, that sounds really fun." I say "But are we going to get a little apartment or stay in a dorm?" I ask. I really want to have an apartment, dorm rooms are kind of gross, plus community showers, no thanks. "Well my parents said they would pay for my housing even if I had a roommate and they wanted me to live in an apartment. So we could go look at apartments if you have nothing to do today." Taylor says. "Wait but I cant let your parents just pay for my apartment." I say "It is fine, they are just paying for the apartment and the utilities. We have to buy groceries and other stuff. Just please say yes!" Taylor practically says begging. "Okay, but I do have a surf practice around 10. So can we go after that?" I say "yeah we can. I could take you to practice so I can see how good you are." she says. I chuckle and just look at her. Our drinks come and I order avocado toast and she got an acai bowl. We ate our food and joked around for a little bit. After we finished we drove back to the hotel room so I could get my gear and we headed off for the beach...
