IN THE EYES OF

In the eyes of a lover I see pure bliss.
In the eyes of a mother I see broken dreams.
In the eyes of the dead I see their last kiss.
In the eyes of a friend I see unspoken screams.
In the eyes of a child I see playfulness amiss.
In the eyes of an elder I see the wise beams.
In the eyes of beauty they all seem perfection.
In the eyes of beholder they see my reflection.
