Phoenix (Rainbow six siege x OC)

Chapter 2

Mission: accomplished

Location: bartlet university, medical tent

Time: 15:00

POV: Phoenix

I woke up from a pain In my side. I slowly got up and instantly felt like my side was on fire. I was shirtless and my stuff was next to me. I walk out of the tent and all the gas was gone. There were few students living and many dead. I walk over to one off the living students.

Phoenix: Hello

Student: Yes sir

Phoenix: What happened here

Student: They went into the building and started shooting and throwing gas. Once the gas went off everyone scattered. I thought I was a goner

Phoenix: Well this was an attack on our soil, these people won't get away with it

I pat his shoulder and walk over to where rainbow was at holding my side.

Phoenix: Hey

Ash: How's the side

Phoenix: Seeings as I was only out for an hour not great

Thermite: Well I would say that's a job well done

Twitch: Not fully, people were still killed

Glaz: More importantly children

Phoenix: Well I guess this is where I leave, it was good working with you all

I walk to the medical tent and starts putting my gear back on. I leave the tent in my gear as Emma approached me.

Twitch: Why don't you come with us

Phoenix: Maybe, but that's if it's...

Twitch: We always need more people to help us

Phoenix: Why not, I've been looking for new work

Twitch: Great, follow me

She starts walking as I follow, every Once in a while my eyes fell to look somewhere where, I will admit, I shouldn't have looked. We approach her team with me putting my gear back on with a few grunt because of it bumping my side. I put my headgear on and hold my side.

Ash: How you holding up

Phoenix: I'm... I'm breathing, not easily but still breathing

Ash: That's good

I held my side trying too let some of the pain off but it didn't help

Twitch: Ash come here, I want to talk to you about something

Ash looked at me and said oh Lord before walking over to twitch. As they talk I use my zipper to make sure there are no problems with it. I get a call from my dad who I called saying I had to go to work. He know my job and worries every time. We talk for a while and I find out he sat in his pick up truck crying in a Wal-Mart's parking lot for an hour. I felt bad but my job isn't the most friendly job to anyone involved. We hang up and I sit back think. A helicopter landed close and team rainbow started to load the helicopter up with their gear and Emma walked over to me.
