kai told lexi about a new cafe they found in their community and lexi wanted to go on it. they decided to go for brunch on a sunday morning. it was around 11:00 am, and they were both starving.
"i've been here before, their best thing is their french toast, just so u know," kai exclaimed.
"haha okay," lexi replied.
they completed their walk to the cafe. it had a bakery on one side and a cafe on the other. there were eiffel towers everywhere and the aesthetic was all natural and simple.
the waitress makes it to the table and asks for their drink orders.
"i'll have a hot cocoa with extra whipped cream," lexi says without hesitation.
"uh... there's so much to choose from. can i have the... latte?"
the waitress smiles, nods her head and walks back into the kitchen.
"soooo, anything you've been interested in for food?" kai says calmly after closing their menu.
"i'm probably going to get the banana chocolate chip pancakes. they seem really good. you?"
"i'm getting the french toast, of course."
the waitress soon comes back with their drinks and gets their food orders. the food comes and it is a so light but filling. they both couldn't even finish, and there wasn't that much food to eat!
"that was soOo good," lexi giggles to kai.
"i knew you would like it. "
