home movies + forts

lexi texted me saying she wanted to come over. mom said yes! she was already on her way over when she asked, classic lexi move. when she gets here i think i'm gonna make her a hot cocoa, because they are the best in the winter.
once lexi got to my house, i made her hot cocoa, just as a i thought, and then we decided we wanted to cuddle and watch christmas movies. we cuddled up in a blanket and watched 4 christmas movies in a row for hours on end. it was a cute moment, once in a while we would change positions and we would get closer and closer until our lips were touching. i come up with creative ways to kiss her all the time, i don't know why, but i do.
by the time the movies are done it's already 7pm. time flew by! lexi decided that it might be a cool idea to build a fort and hang out in it. i agreed with the idea, so we started to find materials.
i found chairs and blankets, while lexi found pillows, and an air mattress so the ground isn't hard (it's only a little one).
i put the chairs in 4 corners outside of the air mattress as it was being blown up, and once it was done we hung 2 huge blankets over the top, leaving enough blankets for inside the fort too.
we made the bed with the extra blankets and the pillows, and then we needed to find cute decorations.
i found my sugar skull string lights, which i hung inside the fort as our light. lexi found this cute little table thing to put our stuff in, it sits inside one of the chairs' legs.

the next morning we went outside and built snowmen. they were cuter cute, and i wished they lasted forever, cause it was a cute moment. lexis hands kept getting cold, so i kept having to hold her hands to warm them up.
lexi then had to go home, which was a sad moment. i always cry when she leaves, and i'm crying now, so that makes sense. i love her a lot. i got so lucky.
