Ashlyn
"Hey mom, Phoebe said that she could do the photo shoot this weekend. She just needs to know time, place, and what to bring." I yell to my mom in our kitchen after reading the text Phoebe sent me.
"The shoot will be at the store, we will probably be shooting all day Saturday so she will need to be there at six that morning for makeup and she only needs to bring herself. Actually I have a whole packet of information that you can just give her the next time you see her." She replies as she leaves the kitchen to speak to me in our dining room.
"Okay. Just leave it under my purse and I'll grab it when I head to school in the morning. This homework is probably going to take me forever so I won't get to see Derick tonight." I sigh.
"Do you need help sweetie?" My mom questions.
"No. I just have to much to do. I forgot about a project and now I'm going to have to do it all in a couple of days."
"Alright. I'd you need anything let me know. I left the packet for her where you asked me too. Dinner will be ready in about thirty minutes."
"Thanks mom. Hey I know you said it would take all day but do you think we will be done by seven? There is a Halloween party Saturday that we have been waiting for." I ask.
"We should, but if we are running late she can meet you there." She replies.
"Yeah, no she can't. The twins haven't told her it's a Halloween party or that it's a party in general. They just asked me to get her ready and then leave the rest to them." I explained.
"She can't get herself ready?" She counters.
"Not really. The costume the boys picked out is a couples themed costume and lets just say that she will rock it but not without a little push to actually put it on."
"Do I even want to know what those two picked out for her?"
"Haha it's not bad. Just a little on the skimpy side. They want her to be the princess peach and they will be Mario and Luigi." I chuckle.
"That's actually really cute. I'm surprised the twins came up with that idea." She gushes.
"It surprised me too. Then again everything they have done with her has surprised me. They are different with Phoebe. I think they finally met their match. I think she might be it for them. I could honestly see the three of them raising their kids along side me and Derick." I speak dreamily.
"Ashlyn, you are all still very young, so just remember to take things in stride. I know it's easy to get swept up in thinking of forever but you never know where life will take you. I'm not saying that they won't end up together forever or that you and Derick won't end up married. Just don't rush it. If it's meant to be it will happen." My mom lectures softly.
"I know. Everything is just perfect right now. We are all happy and love being around each other. I don't want to think of a time when that might not be."
"Awe sweetie. Don't fret, just enjoy each day of being young. Now finish your homework." She replies.
"Yes mom."
