chapter 5

marinette/milana's pov

believe me when I tell you that we were surprised when chloe came up to us with a timid expression, clearly showing how nervous she was. I raise an eyebrow at er and she clears her throat "I may have been a brat 4 years ago, but I promised I have changed and I wanted to say sorry, but before I could you had already left, can you please forgive me, I just want a true friend."

my eyes soften and I hug her "I accept your apology, I have sensed no malice or hints of lying in your voice" I feel her relax and whisper "thank you" we break from the hug after a few minutes. Her expression turns serious "I have new lies that I heard the liar say and I think you'll want to hear them."

I nod and agree to ear them at lunch which is after the next period.

1 hour later

it was lunch time and we went to a cafe, so that we could have peace. Chloe then started telling lila's lies while we were gone "from what I heard lila says that she has personally met bruce wayne, is still going on about jagged stone creating more songs her, she says that she is dating prince ali, and that clara nightingale called her a hero in the making."

she continued on telling us all about what lila lied about when we were gone. Our talk was then interrupted by kagami who was walking by. Chloe hugs her when she sees her, I look at them both confused.

they seem to notice me and adrien's confused faces, chloe speaks to clear that confusion "kagami is my girlfriend, she's the one who helped me change most." Me and adrien smile "congratulations you two, kagami, chloe already knows this, but this right here is my brother marius" I point at my brother and he politely smiles.

after we talk and eat, we head back to school. It was strange because when we got to class everybody glared at us four. Alya stands up and yells in fury "how dare you!" I roll my eyes and glare at her with cold eyes "you have no right to yell at me for something I clearly didn't do, since I am confused why someone like you is yelling at someone like me, you scum."

I visibly see her turn red "you four bullied lila in the hallway after she used the restroom!" I sigh and then yawn.

"are you done yet?" she screams in rage and tries to punch me. I catch in and look at her blankly. I pick her up by her fist and slam her on the ground where cracks appear. Fortunately, Ms. Bustier isn't in here yet.

I loo at alya who is crippling in pain, I sigh disappointed "weak, seriously do you think that will scare me? you must be crazy if you think that was gonna scare me." My brother, adrien, and chloe laugh at my sarcastic comment.

By the time Ms. Bustier comes in, alya is already cringing in pain and bursting in anger at my strength and will to challenge her, pathetic. After the day is done, my brother, me, adrien, and chloe walk outside together where kagami is waiting for us. We say our goodbyes, then chloe and kagami get in her limo, where as me, adrien, and my brother walk to our car.

we see our idiot classmates by our car, admiring as lila leans on it probably saing that it was hers. I roll my eyes and take out the car key, then I unlock the car as soon as we get near the car. The class looks around confused as to why the car unlocked when lila didn't take out anything to unlock it with.

I clear my throat and they realize us standing there "can you please move, we wish to get to our car without idiots standing around it." They glare at me and lila starts fake crying "oh, marinette, how could you steal my car keys ."

kim says "c'mon marinette just give her car keys back" I death glare at him and he seems taken aback by my glare "if you would just look it has my brother's, adrien's, and my name on the  driver's plate in black on the front" I say too tired to deal with this nonsense.
