Chapter 10

Cathy

I woke up, turned over and didn't see Mia laying next to me. I got up made her bed and walked down the hall to the bathroom to do my hygiene. After taking a shower I walked back down to Mia's room and looked in her closet for a pair of sweats and a T-shirt. After I found a comfortable fit I went into her drawer and got a pair of new panties out after I was done lotioning my body and getting dressed I made my way downstairs. I walked into the living room and gasped seeing my Bestfriend sleep with James. I couldn't do nothing but smile because my Bestfriend is laying with a man. I never thought it would be this early, I thought it would take her a couple of more years knowing that her standards are too high. I walked into the kitchen and open the fridge pulling out bacon, eggs, and milk. I then walked over to the pantry and pulled out the pancake Mix, after that I pulled out the pans and put some toast in the toaster. after I got done cooking. I made three plates, one for me, my Bestfriend, & James. After sitting the plates on the table I than poured 3 cups of orange juice, after placing the cups near every plate I went and woke James and Mia up.

Okay you two lovebirds it's time to wake up, your plates on the table aside with your orange juice.

Thank you soo much Bestfriend, Mia said smiling

Your welcome bestie, now get on up and put some food on your stomachs, Cathy replied while grabbing the empty patron bottle. Seems like you two had a fun night

Yes we did, I will have to do this every night, james replied with a smile on his face

I can dig it, we can definitely make that a plan. Mia side smirked while rubbing her hands through her hair.

Cathy, Mia, & James all made their way to the table to sit and eat.

Sooooo, how was y'all night? Cathy asked Mia and James while smiling.

Wonderful, Mia replied

Outstanding, James replied

Ouuu, so that means godkids soon & looking forward to a future weeding? Cathy asked while sipping her orange juice

Mia choked off of her bacon, Bestfriend don't rush things for me okay. We're just getting back to knowing each other and enjoying each other's presence

James looked at Mia and smiled, he turned his attention to Cathy and spoke " We will get married and she will have my kids" she's my future and ain't no need to go searching anymore I ran into what I want for a lifetime

Cathy threw her hands in the air and yelled THANK GOD!

Mia looked at her and laughed, Girl you are silly as hell. Are you okay tho?

Cathy looked over at her Bestfriend and replied, yes ma'am I'm okay! After I get done cleaning the kitchen I'm going to head over to Keyshawn's and have a talk with him.

James looked between the two and smiled while he at the rest of his food.

After Cathy and Mia cleaned the kitchen, Cathy headed out to go meet Keyshawn at his house. While James And Mia sat on the couch talking about their relationship.

So what are we going to do, Mia asked James

First and foremost I don't just speak for my health so even if you got another nigga in mind or on the side that shit is dead. Your my future and ain't nothing else to that shit. From this day forward consider yourself mine and mine only. James said in a serious tone while looking into Mia's eyes.

Mia couldn't do anything but agree and smile. Shit in fine with that as long as you treat me right and not have any hoes

Oh I ain't worried about none of these bitches baby but I do have something to tell you tho. Please don't get mad and try to leave me already. He said looking at her

What is it James and don't tell me anything that's going to make me consider even leaving you.

I got a girl pregnant and she'll be having my baby in a couple of months, I don't want her at all I'm just going to take care of my baby. It was really supposed to be a hit and quit but she ended up carrying my seed. He said truthfully while looking into Mia's eyes.

James that was before me and I can't blame anything on you. Your a man y'all do things but I also don't want their to be any drama between me and her. If all your going to do is take care of your child and not try and fuck her than I'm coo with that. I stand behind you 100 percent. I just want what's best for us if we're going to do this.

James looked at Mia and smiled. See this is exactly why I just love your ass, you always was good woman even had a great heart since we we're little. I promise you I would not fuck her I don't want any dealings but to take care of my seed. That's my word Mia.

I believe you James, enough of this talk. What are we doing today? Any plans in mind? I have off work for a couple of more days. I just want to enjoy these couple of days off to be honest.

My grandma is having a barbecue this weekend. Would you like to come with me?

Oh my god yes, I Miss Ms. Rosie. Can we go see her today? I haven't seen her in years

Actually we can go over there after you get yourself dressed because I have to go get dressed also.

With that being said Mia made her way upstairs to get herself ready.
