{Oliver's P.O.V}

I woke up completely crooked, my head was staring down at the floor. If I was any closer to the edge of the bed, I would faceplant right onto the cold floor. I sat up on my aching knees and rubbed my head to wake myself up. I looked over at the window of the room and saw that the sun was about to set. I stood up and walked over to the window. I placed my hands on the window and looked at the sky of pinks, purples, and oranges like a little kid. It was so beautiful, I wanted to stare at it forever, but I knew it would end soon, so I decided to just leave the room and look for Gumi and the others instead.

I walked over to the door and turned the knob, then pulled the door towards myself to open it. I stepped into the hallway and took a right to get to the staircase, when I suddenly bumped into something. Or should I say someone.

"What the-" the person began to yell, but they cut themself off when I looked up at them. It was a guy: black hair, amber eyes, a bit taller than me, but not by a lot, though I had to look upwards to look at his face, he wore a collared shirt with his right sleeve being long, but his left short like a tank top with an extended sleeve that wasn't attached to his shirt. Huh, Miku and Piko (if I'm remembering their names correctly) had these sleeves that weren't attached to their clothes, too. It must be a trend or something.

Anywho, the guy kept staring at me with a strange look on his face. I was starting to feel uncomfortable from the stare of this stranger.

"...hello?" I said shyly, backing up a bit since I was kind of in his personal space.

"Who are you?" he said, his voice sounded like that of a guy, but the way he spoke was a bit girly. He didn't have a gay accent or anything, his pronunciations were just a bit more like how a girl would speak than a guy.

"I'm Oliver," I said, expecting him to either A. ask why I'm here, like Piko did (which was the more likely response) or, B. introduce himself, which I didn't think he'd do, he didn't seem like the overly polite type. Well...

"I'm Rei, could you move over a bit? My room's over there," he said as he pointed towards the room next to mine.

"S-sure," I stuttered before getting out of Rei's way by sliding to my left. Hm, I'd say my prediction of his personality was just above the bull's eye.

Rei walked into his room that was protected by a black door. This had the cobwebs in my brain tear as the gears in my head began to spin around: his door, shirt, detached sleeve, and hair were all black, black must be his favourite colour,  so therefore, the doors must be in these people's favourite colours. It's just an assumption, though. Rei shut the door, sheesh, this is the second time I've had to be ignored like this today.

I let out a sigh, then started walking down the hallway that led to the staircase. I found it and traversed down the spiralling stairs. I noticed that there were two people sitting on the couch playing a video game. It was a boy and a girl, they both had golden blonde hair and bright blue eyes, I remember Gumi mentioning a pair of twins, this must be them. The boy had messy bangs that slightly reminded me of a bundle of bananas, along with a tiny ponytail. The girl's hair was a bit spiky on the bottom, but relatively neat on top. She even had a big, white bow that looked a bit like the leaves of an orange. Gosh, all this food reminding made me realize just how hungry I was, I haven't eaten all day.

"No no no no no..." the boy with the ponytail said over and over. I looked at the screen and realized they were playing a cartoon style racing game. If I remember correctly, I think this was called Mario Kart Wii. I've heard of it from the kids at the school I used to go to. On the left side of the screen, a brunette in yellow and orange was driving a motorcycle, it looked like she was about to cross the finish line. On the right side of the screen, however, was a yellow turtle creature, who was also on a motorcycle, was what looked like a few meters away from the brunette.
