Riley's POV

I sat in the kitchen for a while. My mind racing in a million directions. There was no fucking way I just submitted to Max. I didn't move at all as I thought about just happened.
Had I really just done that? Had I really let him order me? Did I really let my instincts run with me? What the fuck!

How could I have let myself become that way with anyone? Let alone him?!
I growled at myself. Rather loudly.
Loud enough to catch someone's attention.

"Luna? Are you alright?" Asked a small girl. She stood in the doorway looking meek and scared.
I took a deep breath and stood up walking towards her slowly as not to scare her anymore.
"Yes baby I'm quite alright. Just a bit frustrated. What's your name?"
I asked gently.

She was about chest high on me. Which wasn't much considering that I was only 5'3. So she was maybe 4'11. She couldn't have been older than 5. It made me wonder who's child she was.

"My name's Maliee." Her voice shook. No doubt she had heard what I had done earlier.

Shock filled me.
"Maliee...as in Maximus' little sister?"
My voice shook.

She nodded. Her blond hair bouncing a bit at the motion.

"Yes Luna. I am the youngest of the Moore family." She spoke, her voice wavering a bit.

I knelt down to her height.
"My name's Riley. You don't have to call me Luna."
I spoke softly.

The light lit in her bright blue eyes.
"Really?! I can?!" She jumped up and down in excitement.

I smiled and nodded.
"Can you tell me where the barracks are? I need to do something."

Maliee nodded and took my hand gently and took off running.

.....

Max's POV

The room was filled with my generals. Each arguing across the table about what's the best course of action to take.
I was slumped over in my chair, head resting in my hand as I just listened to the chaos.

"The attacks are getting worse! We can't anticipate when they'll strike next!"
One yelled out
"We need to send out a party!" Another screamed.
"No we must stay neutral! If we do we stand to lose our status!!!"

Finally I stood up, slamming my hands down on the table.

"ENOUGH!"
I screamed silencing them all in a single word.

"This is what we will do! You will give me time to think over this information. I will give you my decision in a week's time. Now I'd like to spend time with my mate. If you'd please leave!" I scowled deeply.

Fear coursed through them all. No one liked to see me angry. I had my father's anger, but my mother's patience.
However when I did explode no one liked to clean up the damage I had left in my wake.

Slowly the room began to clear. I slumped back into my chair sighing deeply.
The room was almost completely empty except for my Beta and Gamar.
I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned to look at my Beta Marc.

"Relax. Take your time. They will all understand your decision in due time. For now I have a word for you."
He spoke calmly.

I nodded for him to continue.

" Your sister and I have decided on a wedding date. If you'll approve?"
He asked in hope.

Joy coursed threw my veins as I smiled widely. I stood up and patted his back in a warm hug, which he gladly accepted.

"OF COURSE I WILL!!  I'm happy for you! When the date?!" I asked in Glee.

Marc smiled in his joy at being accepted.
"This July. It's soon but Reagene said shed be able to manage."

I looked at him in shock.
"That's a month away. Are you sure you'll be ready?" I asked gently. I didn't want to ruin the mood we were sharing.

He nodded. Marc was just about to speak when the door burst open to reveal my second youngest sister.
She was panting and trying to catch her breath.

This was highly unusual for her. I was immediately on guard.

"What is it Isabella?" Worry laced my voice deeply.

My Gamar- her mate- made his way to her side wrapping an arm around her gently.

"T-the Luna...h-he's int-the ba-barracks. He's t-teaching the -military some d-dangerous t-tactics!" She panted out both my Gamar and my Beta looked at each other in shock.
In a moment both me and Marc were running to the barracks. As fast as our legs would take us.

.....

Riley's POV

A leg swung at my face. I raised a hand to block it. In a single move I had twisted the attacking leg rendering the attacker useless. He lay on the floor muttering in pain.
Applause rang threw out the room. As yet again I had defeated another one of their captains.

I smiled as I stood up straighter, a smile painted on my face. I'd managed to teach the men as many as 15 new tactics in defeating rouges. I was quite proud of myself at this point.

"Your quite a thing. Never expected an omega to know how to do these kinds of things." Said a young soldier coming up to talk to me.
"I'm not like many of really any omegas. I'm different. And I don't think that's a bad thing. Do you?" I asked with a smile.

The male smirked and nodded.
" No there's nothing wrong with that. You know... Maybe you should meet me for dinner later tonight?-"
Before he could finish the front door slammed open.

I flipped around ready for an attack when I saw a sight all the more frightening.

Max was livid. Rage seethed from his every pour as he stormed his way towards me. In one swift move he had me over his shoulder, landing a hard smack on my rear.
I yelped in pain.

I knew I was done for but I didn't care. I looked up and called out to the male who had been talking to me before.

"I'll find you later. Well have that dinner! See ya sexy!!"

As soon as the last word left my mouth a series of slaps landed on my rear. I bit my lip to keep myself from cursing aloud.

I was so in trouble...
