Richie POV:

The losers and I are supposed to meet up at the quarry today.

I don't know if I feel up to it or not.

Maybe I'll just call Stan and tell him I'm sick or some shit.

No. I shouldn't. He'll tell the others and then Eds will insist that I'm too fucking stupid to take care of myself.

Looks like I have no choice in the matter then.

Eddie POV:

"Where the fuck is that dumbass," I say while pacing back and forth.

"H-how the h-ell am I sup-ppose to k-know" Bill said frustrated.

Richie texted us 10 minutes ago saying that he would be here soon but that fucker is still nowhere to be seen.

"Maybe he fell and hit his head. No wait, his parents already dropped him as a baby doing that job for us." Stan joked hoping to lighten the mood.

Before any of us could comment we heard the sound of a bike peddling against small rocks.

"Hope you fuckers didn't miss me too much," Richie said, slightly out of breath.

"Mind telling us where the fuck you were. You told us you were going to be here 10 minutes ago. In that time you could have gotten hit by a car, or beaten up by Bowers, or a head injury or-" before I could finish my miniature rant Richie interrupted me.

"Relax Edwardo, me and your mom just got a little caught up in-"

"B-beep beep, R-Richie," Bill countered.

"Yeah, what were you actually doing that made you so late," Bev said.

If I'm being honest, I completely forgot she was here...oops.

"Well Bevor, if you must know I was biking down the street when all of a sudden BOOM a rock came out of nowhere and I fell into a ditch," Richie added, emphasizing the boom.

"W-wait ac-tually?" Bill questioned.

"Fuck no, I just don't know how to tell time so I woke up late and lied about me almost being here," Richie stated.

"You know what, that makes a lot more fucking sense than a magical rock coming from who knows where and knocking you into a ditch," I added.

"Please just tell me you remembered to wear swimming trunks because I'm fairly certain none of us are going to let you borrow ours," Stan stated. I mean, he makes a good point.

"Does this answer your question birdman," before Stan could even begin to make sense of what he said, Richie ran as fast as he could and jumped off of the cliff, with his clothes still on. Now that I mention it, why is Richie wearing a long-sleeved shirt in the summer? I'll have to ask him about it later.

After the initial shock of Richie jumping wore off, the rest of us decided to join him. First Bill and Stan, then Bev, Ben, and Mike. But before I jumped I noticed something. Richie doesn't have a change of clothes.

What a fucking idiot.

Welp that was it.

The first chapter done and over with.

What'd you think

Welp, peace.
