Separation

Pidge is the first to wake up to see Kieth. His eyes are closed but it doesn't hide that they were crying. Pidge slowly feels her glasses on her. Amara was a half dragon. Kieth now knows about her being half dragon. Honesty for years she didn't know what she was. Mom always told her to buckle her wings  and tail down to her back. The painful part was the tail.  Her ermald green scales that were on her skin were covered with makeup. Dad and Matt were really the only ones who understand what she was going through. They always cheered her up. They even went on a trip to an abandoned park for half dragon lessons. Like how to control her magic. How to breath out fire. Once they went on the Kerberos mission to only be presumed dead. Those years were some the darkest times of her life. Mom kind of went cold. She became a different person. She took extremes to protect the one thing left in her life. Pidge remembers the forever craved in her back scars.  She kind left her mom again. She wonders what's happening to her right now. Haggar walks back into the cell smiling. Pidge looks at her with disgust. "I got permission for Lord Zarkon to harvest some of your quineesse when needed but for now. I'm allow to break you and you're my newest test subject. Too bad Shiro wasn't as interesting as you. Amara will led to your cell. Be lucky she gets to take good care of you when the guards and I aren't  having fun with you. AMARA! Take her to the druids! Then report back to me!Inject her first." Haggar says simply and cruelty screaming off her. Amara walks in and injects Pidge with a green liquid. Her face is badly hiding fear and sadness. Pidge refuses to give Haggar the satisfaction of screaming but every inch of her body is screaming in pain. Pidge forces herself stand. She walks on needles with Amara to the druids' torture. Once they get there they have her be on a table for testing and scans. Amara walks away and goes back to Haggar. She is blasting Kieth over and over again. Kieth is somehow holding back his screams but is coughing up a lot of blood. Amara taps Haggar. She turns blasting magic at Amara. She dodges the blast by inchs. Haggar stops and goes silent with a frown. "I'm sorry. Lucky you know how to dodge my daughter.", Haggar whispers at Amara's long charred black tipped ears. Kieth watchs with spike of anger running in his veins that witch does care for Amara in strange and sadistic way. He knows Amara is going to help them escape but what price will she have to pay to save them because honesty he can tell she's trapped here as much as them. Haggar grabs Kieth and hands him to Amara. Kieth begins looking around trying to get a glimpse of a window for a location guess. He spots a window and sees a few familiar constellations. He honesty focuses hard on where he is being led to. Haggar walks proudly into the testing room. Amara simply is dying for a scream. The collar is going off and that means that Zarkon wants to hear them back NOW. Haggar places Kieth down on the table. Injecting needle after needle with utter delight. Kieth really wants to punch her but moving his arms are much a difficult position. He groans in a low mutter like tone in response. Haggar stares at Amara. She's hovering over the computer. Her eyes aching every few seconds with her entire being. Soon the results are on display as soon as Amara looks, she screams violently. She turns.  staring at Kieth with untold fear. Haggar quickly screams loud, " WHAT IS HE REALLY?!" "A . . . . he's first 50% Galra, 25% human and finally a . . . Shattered. Hence for screaming, he's the Legend of Voltron." Amara says as fear stutters out of her. Haggar looks at this boy and smiles. " HAHA, This is too good to be true. I have heard tales of the race of Legends but never to be true. Here it is. Shocking isn't to learn that you're more alien then human. Palladian." Haggar says smiling "How about we visit your team before I put you in for harvesting. I'll only test a vile of your quineesse to get a look of how powerful you are.".

Shiro was locked up in the training deck or checking in on the search for Pidge and Kieth. He wasn't going to let the Galra get away with what they did to him to them.
Lance was either in his room or helping the search. When he was in his room, he would write until he went to sleep or cry.
Allura was going through only 3 hours of sleep trying to find Pidge and Kieth. The Galra took her family once but she refused for it to be twice. She wonders one thing the Legend of Voltron. She knows it's a powerful being with power if all types of bending, magic and creating new abilities by thinking. It can be out of control by fear and stress. It has a maturing stage and is very vulnerable in it. It will grow wings, grills to breath in anywhere with no effect at all, horns that can sense danger and changes colors to it's emotion, and a tail with poisonous venom. Finally overall their senses would dramatically increase. The Legend of Voltron fulfill it's second purpose of existing. Allura didn't know how to tell the team this because it's complicated and was never talk of again after Zarkon became a monster. The Paladians are also guardians of the elements that maintain the balance of the universe. The elements of the lions are simple as easy to tell.
Blue is water and the creatures that live in it with winter.
Red is fire and anything to do with hot temperatures.
Yellow is the day and night. So all the stars, moons and suns that make up the universe but also wind and weather.
Green is nature and technology. The structure of advancement is also a element.
Black is the strongest of the them because Black has to always remain calm to keep his abilities in check. The elements of Black are life, death, quineesse and emotions. This is most likely why Zarkon believes he has every right to rip planets of their quineesse.
The Legend in a way helps the Paladians gains the abilities needed to preform this forever going task. They gain the abilities of their elements and they too have a maturing stage but it as rapid as the Legend and their appearances will change and will new important organs might be added to their bodies as a whole. It will also show the true species they were at their birth. Telling the team this now would be so wrong in so many levels. She can't keep this forever. So Allura with the help of some mice friends, decides to tell them true once they get Pidge and Kieth back. Coran quickly calls for everyone. Haggar is on screen with Amara chaining Kieth to a chair. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HAGGAR?! LEAVE KIETH ALONE!" Allura screams. " No can do Princess Allura. Not when he's more valuable then you can ever imagine." Haggar says smiling. Amara quickly goes off trying to head to a separate communication link. "GET BACK HERE SLAVE!" Haggar says with fear trembling in Amara's mind. Amara walks back to the terror of Hunk and Lance about what she's going to forced to do to Kieth. " Is there a way to speed up the maturing of this Legend?" Haggar says coldly to Amara. " STOP! THAT WOULD SERIOUSLY HURT KIETH SO DON'T!"Allura screams to everyone's' terror. " WHAT! Speeding up a Legend's maturing when it's going to start in a few hours is madness! Espically if mistress, you're about to harvest his quineesse to then inject another's quineesse into him only for more torture. When you injected the needles into him to do testing you have already speed the process enough! It's literally about to start anyway in 30 doboshes! There's nothing I can do besides telling you that this to Kieth as a whole will be a painful maturing!" Amara says while having a full argument with her second master. Allura and everyone else is finding out what's about to happen to Kieth and Pidge's quineesse in horror. Soon 3o doboshes go by in pure silence. The screams soon come off of Kieth as skeleton bones of wings, horns and a tail come out of his body. Haggar immiedity begins torturing him. Haggar forces Amara to hand her more torture tools to the rage of Voltron. Hunk notices her begging Haggar to stop and let her heal him. Soon after protests and screams of both sides Haggar stops leaving Kieth with serious injuries to an already painful maturing. She orders Amara to patch up the major serious injuries and reveal what she is to Voltron. Then to talk with Voltron then end transmission. Then proceed Kieth the harvesting chambers. Afterwards start designing a HQ design. Coran and Allura slowly guide Amara to help heal Kieth. She is forced to stop when guards catch healing then she should on "accident". Finally she stares at the remaining members of Voltron and almost cries. She reveals her half dragon form to the shock of everyone espically Allura. She begins to tell her story, " I was captured around the age of 5. I was playing in the garden when my parents were protecting the Blue Lion. We were brought to Zarkon where he killed my parents right in front of me and inserted this collar on my neck marking me as his personal slave. This collar has many needles and syringes filled of painful solutions that make my body go in an total agony mode and sometimes forces me to do things against my will but I can't do anything because I can't take it. Afterwards he wanted fix an broken empire and made me do it. I rebuild their society from the bottom to the top. I know where the key points of the empire and where if you attack would have a huge blow to the empire which why everyday they torture me. I'm a powerful half breed but yet I'm a slave to them. Stuck here and I didn't know if anyone was going to help me. Years prior I was building a ship with the help of my mother for one purpose. You see my mother was an altean born on earth. So she told me the stories and everything about planet Altea. I know all about the species of Legends but my question is did you tell them the huge story Allura or are you waiting to get Kieth and Pidge because I can tell you this You can't hide anymore. You have officially run out of time." Allura how's her down showing no. Coran pats her knowing how pain it is remembering what actually happened. Zarkon wasn't just a friend of her father but he was her godfather that she felt really close to at the time. The only other person who could accept her besides her family. Allura was powerful being but was bullied everywhere she went because of it. Allura really wanted to know why and still wants to know why. Why being an altean with white hair at a young age was considered such a bad thing? Allura finally answers, " There's another more important role then defending the universe. Maintaining the balance of it. It's been a forever on going task. Since Voltron is the legendary defender of the universe, Voltron was given this forever of a burden. You see each lion and Paladin is a guardian of their specific element or elements. For example the blue lion is the holder of the elements of water, winter and aqua sea live. So the Legend of Voltron helps each Palladian gain their abilities or powers of their respectful elements. A Palladian that has received their ability physically can change with new parts to his or her anatomy changing to suit the needs to balance the new powerful ability and energy at their fingertips. During this stage, it's important the you bond with your lion to help learn and control your abilities. Also under going serious new training. This role was never spoken  of because of what Zarkon did with a specific element he controlled while being a paladian. The Black Lion has the elements of life, death, quineesse and emotions. These are the hardest to master and require a calm mind to keep them in check. An example is Zarkon. He was so mad at  the Green paladin that almost killed her and that time was on accident the time he did it on purpose is a different story. He most likely killed the paladins of old but first eating their quineesse. Quineesse is the energy that is made from our very lives like. Life energy if you will. But of course we already told you. Black Paladin's have the role of keeping the balance flow of it and protect the inter core layer of realities where the strongest quineesse. Only Voltron has been able to get in and out of inter core layer. Proven by how he tricked the paladins into opening the rift on the galra's home planet that would soon be destroyed.  That is another story I'll explain with ALL paladins. When he entered the rift, he began to bend a ton of quineesse into the Galra population, him and his wife forever changing them. Galra in their pure old form was way stronger than they were afterwards. Their bodies began more reliant on eating literal quineesse. After that he began draining quineesse out of planets breaking the line of all rules of his ability. Over time he slowly listed the abilities that were given to him but his body didn't change back to how he was before. That change is permanent. There's no way of reversing the change. That's the second reason why he wants  and needs Voltron to restore his abilities so he can finally wipe them all clean if quineese. Even if he had Voltron, he couldn't get his powers restored unless he has the Legend as well." ,Allura says with anger and sadness burning in her eyes. " He used to plan that and that was mercy." Amara says shaking remembering everything that she did by force those first years of being a slave to the Galra Empire. "WHAT! Then what does he plan and MORE importantly what's he going to do to Pidge and Kieth!" Lance screams out with terror and curiosity of his enemy. " Yes, he will rip every drop of quineesse but the population will become quineesse flowers. In other words, they'll become a slave farm of quineesse. That was the actual fate of Altea. How do I know this? I was one who build the machine that could and this has become the fate of all planets who refuse to lay down at the knees of the Galra." Amara says crying and screaming. Allura couldn't believe it her planet wasn't destroyed! But was given a fate worst than death! Nor could Coran processing this was like processing nails. " They plan to find a way to control them and the other paladins so when they capture you all. All they have to do is kill Shiro and make the others be submissive to Zarkon's will. They'll be put in something I can only describe as the literal definition of torture." Amara says with anger burning like flames behind her were the painful screams of Kieth. Amara told the guards to take him to the his separate and constant monitoring quineesse harvest chamber themselves because this was taking awhile. Allura wanted to scream. Shiro remembering the very few parts of his capture knew it was the most painful times of his life. He worries so much about Kieth and Pidge. He wants them to be here in his arms right now and far away from the Galra. Coran wants the same but he also somehow wants teleport himself to Galra Command and give his ex-friends "the talk" of DONT TOUCH MY FAMILY where to which they would be dead for already touching his family.  Lance was at this point crying in fear with Hunk. They were so worry about Kieth and Pidge that they have already reached passed the breaking point and it was only first true day of them being captured. Hunk couldn't stop thinking about them honesty he was getting most of the comfort from Lance who is trying but is breaking in worry as much as Hunk.  Amara sits there and listening and feels the warmth and love in Voltron. She longed for the love they have for each other. Her mother however how bad it was tried to show her love is there in world. Amara did stare at the loving eyes of her mother as Zarkon killed her. That was the first time she stared at a true monster. Amara remembers that her family already wasn't a healthy one. In fact it was a toxic home to begin with. Her parents never got married and had a night fights that were so loud to her because of her enhance hearing so she would feel her ears bleed at their nasty insults. Soon one day, dad pull out a knife and was so mad that he was planing to really do something bad. Her dad had already yell at her 5 times a day to get at her mom. He used to break her and her sister's toys but mom stopped him. She refused to watch her mother get hurt so she took the nasty cuts to her left eye. That was the first day of her father losing his ways. He began to cut her a lot and beat her up. She taught herself on to fight and stand up for her sister. He was hurting her the most. She hated her father with every bone in her body for it. Zarkon noticed her glare at her father. Mara, her little sis, just had one tear fall seeing their father. Honesty she had none to spare for a man who tortured his family to get at a woman he swore to love when they dated. Zarkon liked her because of Amara's statement of " he was once a good father until he decide to a cruel man to get a people he loved. So he deserved a fate worst than what you can give.". That's what made her a slave to Zarkon. Haggar is way better than Zarkon as in master terms. At least she's focused on her work but Zarkon loved to play with his slaves espically Amara. He would always call her daughter. He treated her with high expections and would torture the heck out her when she had failed to meet them. Honesty she had really mixed feelings about Zarkon. A part of her HATES him for everything he put her through and so many others. The other knows deep part knows that he could have been worst then that so in a way she thanks him for not being his worst to her. She knows what the paladins are going to get however is the worst qualities of a human being. She stares at the remaining paladins and their rants. She longed for that type of family. She barely sees her sister. She received a letter from her. The letter was painful to read. As she read it over and over. She knows that the Blades have her as a member. They even built her a base to live off and on. She's never going reveal her identity of being a Blade even if ordered to. Amara has one idea how her lion and dragon could now go to use. She wants to build her little sister a ship anyway. She stares at this torned up family. She remembers those long painful days that were her reality when Zarkon and Haggar has nothing for her to do. She normally spends engineering in private in her castle of dragons, that she started beginning years ago. The size is massive and is almost  3 times the size of Galra Command ship which is why she's ordered to land it on a moon on an engineering planet full of Galra engineers. Most are on conquered planets or on the Galra ships almost everything you do as a Galra citizen relates to war and death. The one thing she loved was the dragons that had proven themselves worthy to be in castle by passing the impossible no one has been able to get in besides a half dragon, her altean sister and a lot of dragons in the galaxies. Almost all dragons were now living in the castle. There were only a few left. They were great helpers in her lab. It helped being half dragon that she could understand them. It help fill the hole on her heart watching her sister be what she was destined to be without her. This warmth she felt with Voltron was strong and loving. The very feelings her whole life lacked. She pulled back into reality as Voltron stops ranting for the past hours to Amara's delight while she invents things while watching them. Haggar did slip in to check on her. To find her daughter amused by these humans while she invents. It was more calmly in here then normally. Honesty Haggar wanted it to stay that way as she left. Allura begins asking questions first. Amara prepares reveal many truths and lies as well as the hell their captured family was about to go through.
