Maggie has waited for her newborn baby girl to arrive on this earth. There are many people accompanying her. Her mother, Lorena, and her 17-year-old husband and father of her unborn child, Spencer.
In 1992, their baby girl is born. The child is named Alice after Alice in wonderland according to Maggie and Alice Cooper according to Spencer. She may be premature, but she was a beautiful and perfectly healthy baby girl. However, there were signs that Maggie wasn't right.
She believed that Alice has Sleep Apnea and is worried that little Alice will eventually stop breathing. Of course, Spencer believed her and they got a special machine to help her breathe in her sleep.... even though Alice didn't have Sleep Apnea. The truth will be hidden for a while.
On Spencer's 18th birthday, when he woke up one morning, he asked himself, Why am I here?
This is a strange way for Alice's Once Upon a Time, but it is her once upon a time.
Her Once Upon a time began with the divorce of her parents and it began with the house of her Grandmother.
Lorena opened the door with welcome arms and taking good care of her daughter and granddaughter.
"I never expected you to be a mother," Lorena said, "I told you, Mag, you couldn't get pregnant."
"Oh hush, Mama," Maggie said, "I am a mother. And I will do anything to protect my Alice."
Lorena knew her own daughter is too much like herself.
Before Alice was even born, Lorena was always worried about Maggie. She was the apple of her eye. The light of her life. She was protective with Maggie by saying that she has a heart murmur..... which is what Maggie never had.
Maggie is the spoiled brat in the family. She always gets what she wants. Unlike her siblings, who do hard work to get their chance on what the want. Maggie gets to go to college with a medical degree and getting a car as a teenager, but her siblings never got the chance. Her siblings had to work everyday to get their cars and their money to go to college. However, Maggie is no angel because she does the unforgivable when "things go her way".
Maggie is a criminal by stealing from her family, and even shop lifting. She had been arrested at times and was released at times. But her crimes are far worse...... that her crimes would never get her behind bars.
Since Maggie moved in to her family's house, Lorena became ill for unknown reasons and became bed ridden. Lorena trusts Maggie to care for her since she happened to have a medical degree and became a nurse's aid....... but that would lead to the biggest mistake in her life. Maggie neglected to care for Lorena, refusing to give her own mother any food, and even poisoned her with the "medication" , when in reality... the drugs are making her bed ridden and killing her slowly...... a slow painful death.....
"Maggie......... Maggie!"
Maggie neglected Lorena's cries for help.
"Maggie!"
The cries became unheard, leading Lorena to die.
Maggie didn't save her, and chose not to save her. In fact, all of Maggie's focus fell on Alice. Alice was cared for, in fact........ a little too well cared for.
