Months had passed by and finally the day had come. Tegan and I were backstage in our ring gear getting ready to debut. I competed first, and surprisingly over half the arena knew who I was! I faced MJ Jenkins, and boy did she put up a good competition! I ended up with the win ending the match with a knee to the face. After the referee raised my hand, I took Jenkins' hand and hugged her. "You did damn well", I told her. And she replied with a "Thank you".
------
I headed backstage afterwards and there were half the WWE (it seemed like), and they were all congratulating me. My boyfriend, Mark Andrews, was there along with my other BFF's Bayley and Sasha. Tegan congratulated me, gave me a hug, and started to tear up. I demanded her not to because I'd cry too. It was finally Tegan's turn to go out and show the world what she is made of.
----------Tegan headed out and the crowd reaction was insane! They were chanting "Lady Kane", knowing that Molly Holly and Kane were her role models growing up and her representation of Kane in the ring. Tegan had to face a younger, taller competitor under the name Rhea Ripley. My immediate thoughts of her were, 'oh shit, she's terrifying'. Tegan had done so well!
Until this happened.....
