Hey Guys! I just started writing this book and I'm liking it so far! I hope you do too!Prologue
A tall handsome knight lifted his helmet off his head. His shaggy brown hair clung to the metal as it slipped off. After placing his helmet on the castle floor, he glided over to a stone slab in the middle of the room. On the slab lay a beautiful young girl, her twilight blue dress matching magnificently with her long flowing dark blonde hair splayed about her on the satin pillow. The knight knelt down and tucked a lock of the girl's hair behind one of her ears. He lowered his face to hers and kissed her. As soon as his lips touched hers, she awoke from her sleep, a cursed sleep, and drew in a deep breath.
"Derek! I knew you would come!" She cried to him. He reached down and gently touched her cheek. When he spoke, his voice was not calm, but angry.
"Miss Dawson, what have I told you about sleeping in class?"
Confused, she looked around her, trying to find where the laughter she had heard was coming from. She looked back up at the knight and gasped. It was not the handsome knight standing there, but a grumpy old man with sleek black hair and rounded glasses. Then Quinn Dawson woke up. Staring coldly at her was her eighth-grade math teacher, Mr. Morrow. All around her, students were snickering at her. Quinn sighed when she realized that she had fallen asleep and started dreaming about the stories in her books.
