Awaken

Y/N's POV

It was 11 am and Yang woke up at the flutter of Blake's cat ears, which were under her chin, because Yang was the doing the big spoon. Hence now both stirred awake as Blake losted Yang's warmth "what time is it?" Yang said with sleepy eyes, but a huge gasp took her by surprise, Blake just noticed her missing forearm and curled herself in a ball and the soft sob could be heard, Weiss tightened the grip on my shirt as she does not move from her position,  keeping  up her facade.

Yang wanted to hug her, but decided not to and just put a hand on her shoulder, Blake turned her head up and saw the little smile her bombshell teammate, but not even that could comfort her as she just went down again on her curled position "Blake..." she just looked at her with a worried face. However, now she went for the hug, Blake stiffened a little soon relaxing in the embrace "everything is going to be alright" Ynag tried comforting her.

But Blake broke down and started loudly crying "nothing is going to be 'okay', we lost vale, I lost my arm and I'm mostly sure we also lost the academy. What else do we got?!" I decided to intervene "we got each other" she looked surprised at my presence "what are you doing here?" I rolled my eyes "now I'm good, even Yang believes in me, but that does not matter now" she looked at me with confusion "look behind you, and tell me what you can see" she actually looked behind her back "Yang is behind me, but that doesn't mean we didn't lost everything!" Blake continued rambling about this and that of how we lost, but I chuckled "what is so funny?!".

Everyone got silent, Blake just sighed "I... don't know" how can people be so dull when something bad happens, why not be a little more optimistic "for now I will recommend you to rest and *i faced Yang* come closer" she got next to me, and asked me about it "she appears to have the symptoms of PTSD, you shall try to be there for her when something happens, that's all" she nodded, but as soon as she stood up she groaned, then I noticed her shirt taint blood red "Weiss go ask Tai for the First Aid Kit and quick" she sped off upstairs yelling Mr. Xiao Long I was going to lift Yang's shirt but she groaned out of pain, u stood up and went to the kitchen, picked up scissors and cut her shirt.

"Oh God! *I instantly faced away* 'no I gotta be strong' 4 shot wounds and a sword on the side" having identified the problem I looked up to see Tai giving me the First Aid Kit "need me to call an ambulance?!" I shook my head and asked for some space, I did what I could with the limited equipment "Yang I" Blake started but she still had phantom pain, she yelled in agony I took both of them on a cloud with Tai and sped off to the nearest hospital, not before I told Weiss to take care of Ruby.

"Its right here!" Tai yelled and signaled an pointed the dark and tall building, but when we arrived we noticed it was... closed?! And saw the sign "every doctor has been called by the superior counsel to assist the citizens of the capital city with everything we had, sorry we didn't get to leave anyone here to serve the local community" Tai got angry "Fuck!" He yelled at the top of his lungs "now what do we do? There is no hospital in kilometers!" I just kicked open the door "I never said I needed a doctor, cause I'm the doctor" we went on the emergency room "Tai get 3 pills of painkillers, give 1 to Blake and 2 to Yang while I search for everything we need" I ordered him and got the equipment I required.

I put on the plastic gloves and started by getting a better look at her wounds "your aura healed 3 out of 4 wounds, but not completely, leaving superficial damage, whereas the 4th shot slightly damaged the abdominal aorta, I'll just have to stitch it" I looked at Tai "come here I need you to keep the wound open" I said as cut the wound with a scalpel "put on some plastic gloves over there".

Minutes later

I just stitched her wound and the worst of all, the sword one, "okay Yang, we almost finish" she faintly smiled, I just repeated the procedure and lastly stitched everything after half an hour I managed to stabilize her blood pressure but something was wrong she was unconscious "she should have been awake by now" I got close to her and got my ear on her chest, I chuckled "what is it?" Tai inquired with delicacy as if speaking out loud could kill her "she's asleep, she was just tired".

Timeskip next morning

It was 11:30 and I was the only one awake and had the map of the entire world. There were some red crosses marking places if interest, varying from the desert dunes on the south of Menagerie, the molten islands on the golf of the hawk back in Vacuo, the unexplored jungle of Vale, and dead ground, Solitas. And last but not least, the forest in Mistral, it may not sound as dangerous as the others, but it's way more probable to die in there than in the others

"What are you doing?" I was greeted with a rather angelic voice, and when I faced it I I I just didn't know what to do, mesmerized does not compare on how I was feeling "I knew I looked ridiculous in these" Weiss complained, but I got closer  "the black and red clothing just highlights the beauty of your pale skin and I really need to say how your legs look amazing on those black shorts" her face reddened at my remark, but she want to get back at me "you like that much my legs" but failed with all success "so much I would even dare to say that they were sculpted by the gods themselves" I said with a smug smile, while get closer and closer, she backed away "I I I was just going to offer you s ok me coffee" *silence* "well, would you like some or not?" She said angry at me

I just chuckled and nodded to answer her, and some minutes after I got black coffee with no sugar on it "pretty mature of yours" Weiss said sitting opposite of me "is that so?" She simply nodded and sipped from hers "totally different from Ruby" I could imagine her putting 8 spoons of sugar on the coffee "speaking of the devil, I have to go before she awakens, i cant let her see me, things would be complicate if I were to stay here" she looked dumbfounded "what does you staying here has to do with her?!" She yelled "Ruby's still young, she still needs to understand this world, and I'm somewhat complex for her understanding, you won't be able to understand, I have studied the human mind"

She didn't want to give up yet "well, take me with you" i sighed, but not in defeat, i have to stay strong "Weiss, you have to be here for Ruby, I'm thinking of taking Yang and Blake with me" she looked angry at me "what does they have that I don't!" She wouldn't cease "Weiss please dont make this more difficult than it already is" I couldn't stand It anymore "then tell me why aren't you taking me with you and I will b...." I pressed my lips against hers, she was surprised by the sudden feeling of warmth, but soon melted in. We were like that for a few minutes "it's all part of the plan, but I cant have you mad at me" she just looked deep into my eyes "it pains me so much that I cannot even describe it" I embraced her "so please, I need you to understand, you mean too much for me, I like you, I want you, but most importantly I need you" I felt some tears falling down

"Y/N..." she said softly, and sighed, in defeat "okay, but please, come back for me" I smiled and caressed her cheek "always, my queen" she pecked my lips and we heard a whistle "is it just me or is getting hot in here, because if it is, not in my house" Tai was laying on the wall, looking angry, but I can tell he was joking and slightly hurt 'sorry, must be hard to be him' I thought, but simply laughed "dont worry if something like that happens, I'll make sure to take her to the sky. Literally" we both laughed, but Weiss  was still a stuttering mess

Later that day

I was helping Tai with the cooking "never took you as the cook type "when your family ignored you, you tend to know how to take care by yourself" he looked worried "sorry if I brought back bad memories" I just nudged him "don't worry, I wouldn't be the man I'm today if it wasn't for them" surprised at me he almost broke a glass, but I caught it "I at first wanted to get revenge, but now I have dismissed any kind of wicked feeling against them, a wise man once said 'always forget and never forgive' it's a pity he may pretty well hate me now" he looked confused "nothing you got to worry about" he probably suspects something, if he hears what I did, he may as well attack me
