As we checked into the hotel room, I couldn't help but notice its vintage decorations and furniture. The sofas were reeking of mold, and the walls were covered in it. However, when we got to our rooms everything changed. The two queen sized beds were lined with silk sheets and comforters. The walls were painted a snowy white with an accent wall of yellow. Underneath that wall stood a 52" flat screen TV on a wooden dresser that looked like it was made in the 1800s. I laid my suitcase on the bed and started unpacking. Inside, I found an assortment of outfits that looked very alike to what I'd wear in real life. Underneath it all, a pair of pink mouse ears laid shimmering in the lamp light. I smiled at the sight, and stifled a laugh. "My mom does know what to pack for me." You walked over and took a glance at the mouse ears in confusion. "What's so special about them?" I looked up at you, and started to tell you the story. "When I was around 4 years old, my parents took me on a trip here and I begged for these mouse ears. They were so sparkly and magical, I just wanted to have them. After a few minutes of whining and crying, a worker came up to us and gave them to us for free in order for me to stop disrupting the store." You looked at me, then smiled. "So the backstory to these mouse ears is that you cried just to get what you want?" I laughed. "Yeah, basically." Afterwards, we each took a shower and slept in our own beds. That night I had a dream about us, and that fantasy I had at the beach. This time we were in the beginning of the world, experiencing it all. The continental drift, the Ice Age, both World Wars, and somehow we always made it back to each other. As spirits of the winds, mammoths, and Jewish refugees. It reminded me of the magnetic force and the theory of reincarnation. It reminded me that we'll always stick together no matter what, and we'll always find our way back to each other, because we have proven that we are meant to be. The alarm woke us at presicely 8:15 in the morning so we would have enough time to get ready, eat breakfast, and catch the bus, to make it just in time for the parade at the beginning of the day. For the day, I decided to wear a white shirt with a mouse in the middle, with a flannel tied around my waist paired with ripped jeans. I tied my brown hair back in a ponytail leaving two strands of hair out just for beauty. You wore a white shirt with some jeans and mouse ears. For breakfast, I had some pancakes and a bagel, you had bacon and eggs. On the way to the park, we passed a number of tourist shops all named after the theme park which promised to sell attire at the lowest deals but were really all the same price. At the park, the theme of a certain movie blasted as we saw an assortment of floats go by us with different characters on them. You liked one, I liked the other. Afterwards, we grabbed a map and decided on a few rides we wanted to try before going to the other park. I begged you to try the water ride with the best argument, "It's good because it's hot outside." And so we did, we fell the 50-foot story drop, the water splashing on our faces like a lot of fish in the water running into a shark on accident. You screamed as if someone was murdering you, I laughed at you. We got off the ride and did a few small ones than hopped on the monorail to the other park. As we got off, you said in a heavy, yet horrible French accent, "Wee, wee, let oos gouh to le Francssouiss." I grabbed your hand and rolled my eyes as I pulled you to the entrance. "You don't know a word in French, and as someone who speaks it, you're doing really bad." We ventured from the humid Mexico, to the mystical French, and back home to America, all within a few hours. After we were done we went back to the hotel and checked out after we took a shower. We hopped into the car, and went home, the ride being peaceful and long as it was the way there. I wrote you a letter explaining all of my feelings to you that I would give you at graduation the next day. My mom packed me an outfit for tomorrow, I was quite excited but nervous to be honest. As we got home, I sat on your couch and made myself home. I slept. A long nap. I felt someone wrapping a blanket on top of me, it was you. I was so happy we were finally together, and it was safe to say I'd call that the best first date ever.
