i barely have it, but it's required greatly in order to have a great piece. i used to just run through stuff and all that crap whenever i was younger, but always remember-
it takes time to bloom.
we should be patient, not only with our art, but with ourselves. don't rush yourself to lose weight or to improve your attitude. it takes time. in learning new things, don't get frustrated at the beginning and saying that your skills suck because you need to allow yourself to be a beginner.
this book seems like art therapy now lmao. . . it's okay if it does, art therapy actually saves lives so yeah.
today i will show y'all an artwork that has been recently my favorite because it was one of those that i took time on. when doing art, it usually takes me an hour but this one took me three to four hours, and it's very elegant.
but nah, i won't show the finished product yet because that will pressure most of y'all.
this will be somewhat a tutorial and the piece this entitled: dragon lady.
not gonna lie, i just came up with the title last minute but this art is mine - mine - i won't give it, you can't steal it, and if i find out, i will fuck you up.
fuck you.
alright let's get started -
again, DO NOT REPOST OR STEAL MY ART WITHOUT PERMISSION.
I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU, BITCH.

pardon the lopsided pictures.
start with the head with a circle, a vertical line at the middle and draw two horizontal lines for the eyes. sketch the details, make sure the ends of the lips are parallel to the start of the brow bone and diagonal to the pupils.
if you don't understand my rambles, just watch the picture and observe because i don't explain technical things well in english.
2. start outlining the eyes. color them lightly but i kinda pressed hard on this one so don't follow that.
