Om walks out of the Thakur Haveli....he wanted to have a walk around the village while he was here...he saw Gauri going out of the Haveli gates...he quickly catches up.
O: "Hey!"
Gauri turns around to see Om walking towards her...she stops and waits for him to catch up.
O: "Itni subah - subah kaha ja rahi ho?" (Where are you going sp early in the morning?)
G: "Mere saath chalo...tumhe pata chal jayega." (Come with me...you will know.)
Om follows her as she walks in front of him...he notices that she has stopped in front of a tea stall...she walks over to the shop and Om follows.
G: "Bhai two chai dena. Bohat tension hai." (Bro give two cups of tea. There is so much tension.)
O: "Kaisi tension?" (What tension?)
G: "Ek minute ruko." (Just wait a minute.)
A few men walk upto the tea stall...they have hockey sticks in their hands.
Man#1: "Ae! Tum mein se kisi ne uss Kali ki ladki...kya tha uska naam...haan Gauri ko dekha hai?" (Hey! Have any of you seen Kali's daughter...what was her name...yes Gauri...have you seen her?)
A few people that are sitting on a wooden bench in front of the tea stall sipping tea looking at the men in pity...Om also takes a seat on the bench while he sips on the tea, the vendor handed him.
Person#1: "Yeh toh aaj gaya." (He is gone today.)
Om looks at the person confused...Gauri places her tea cup on the bench and then walks over to the goons...she stands in front of them.
G: "Main hi hoon be...bol kya kaam hai." (I am Gauri ...tell me what is it.)
The person doesn't answer and tries to hit Gauri with his hockey stick but the stick breaks as it hits Gauri's body...she smirks at the goon and then kicks him so that he goes flying back.
Another man hits the back of Gauri's head with a glass bottle causing Gauri to stumble forward...The glass pieces pierce her skin...she turns around and grips his arm...the man screams in pain.
Gauri twists his arms causing his shoulder to dislocate...he falls to the ground in pain...another man touches Gauri's shoulder and she turns around to punch him but Fajr prayer starts...she stops herself but the men don't stop...they hit Gauri with another hockey stick
She stumbles back and then falls on the ground as another bat hits her...Om gets up to defend her but man sitting beside him grips his hand.
Person#2: "Mat jao beta...tum bas baithe raho." (Don't go son...you just sit here.)
The Fajr prayer ends and Gauri stops the next hit that is headed towards her. She takes the hockey stick from his hand...she begins to hit them with the hockey stick.
She doesn't care where she hits them and doesn't stop...she continues to hit them until they all run away...she throws the hockey stick on the ground...she then walks back to the tea stall.
Om notices the blood coming out from the side of her mouth and the back of her neck was bleeding as well...Gauri sits on the bench while the vendor hands her hot tea.
Person#3: "Gauri beta yeh kaun the?" (Gauri dear who were they?)
G: "Chacha the koi." (Uncle they were some people.)
Gauri places her empty tea cup on the bench and then stands from her spot...Om also places his cup and follows Gauri.
O: "Tumhe dard nhi hota?" (Doesn't it hurt?)
G (laughs): "Dard toh kamzoro ko hota hai...aur hum kamzor bilkul nhi hai." (Only weak get hurt...and I am not weak.)
Om looks over at Gauri as he senses te pain in Gauri's laughter...he knew she was trying to hide her pain...both walk back to the Haveli in full silence.
Haveli
Both walk inside to see everyone was having breakfast...both Om go and sit at the table...Gauri walks to her room to freshen up.
Gauri walks back into the dining room and sits at the table...she sits between her brothers...Swara serves her the food.
Gauri's look:

Everyone eats in silence before Massi ma breaks it.
Mm: "Om, Gauri tum dono ko humhe kuch batana hai." (Om, Gauri we have to tell you two something.)
Gauri: "Bol na budhiya." (Say it na oldie.)
All the younger Oberoi's look at Gauri shocked...and then look back at their food.
Kali: "Gauri beta...tum aaj sham ko hi Mumbai jaa rahi ho...Om ke ghar." (Gauri dear...you are going to Mumbai today...to Om's house.)
Gauri chokes as she coughs and grabs water for herself...she gulps it down and looks at her father.
G: "But Kali itni jaldi kya hai?" (But Kali what's the hurry?)
Tej: "Gauri beta yeh humara decision hai." (Gauri dear this is our decision.)
O: "Per Dad humari shadi ka kya?" (But Dad what about our wedding?)
Dadi: "Beta woh toh ho gayi thi na...ab aaj shaam Gauri humare ghar jayegi." (Son you two are already married...now we are taking Gauri with us in the evening.)
Swara: "Haan beta aur Gauri aur Om tum dono ko jane se pehle mandir jana hoga aur woh bhi shadi ke jode mein." (Yes dear and Om and Gauri, you two have to go to the temple and that to in wedding dresses.)
Gauri and Omkara look at each other...knowing that they don't even have a say in this...both nod and continue to eat their food.
