(Timeskip- 4 months later)
The following weeks after the interview felt short when you do basically the same thing everyday. Still, grinding for points is a very fun but heavy work. Every point required a lot of effort to raise.
I just found out one time that playing games actually raises your DEX stat. So I abused my new discovery. I played games similar to Call of Duty, CSGO, and even League of Legends in this world. I kept destroying players, which earned me a lot of trash talks from the enemy teams. I just used my godly DEX to destroy them. It's what they said: 'You are not a gamer if you haven't cheated once.'
I also made an account in an app similar to Youtube. I named my channel from a famous artist in my previous world, Marshmello. Then, I made a compilation of my videos playing different games. I didn't expect for my channel to grow rapidly. People saying my skills are good in gaming and I should join the Professional League. Some haters also said that I edited my videos and used tricks to make it look impressive. I honestly don't care. I'm having fun here, and joining being a professional gamer never crossed my mind. I just wanted to ease my boredoom while I'm waiting for the new school year to start.
2 months after the interview, my grandfather told me the results of my interview. Apprently, he's the one who received the results since he informed the school that he is my guardian. My grandpa is truly a doting parent.
Now that 4 months have passed, it's time to go back to school again. But something tells me that today will be different. Different from the time I met Nayeon and Namjoon. Oh well, I guess school won't be boring this time.
Before departing, I double checked if all of my things were inside my bag. Then, I wore the signature yellow coat of the school. I still can't believe I'm now a student of SOPA. I left the building and went to school.
Upon arriving to the school, I noticed that many students are already arriving. Some people walked with their friends while chatting. Others walked alone, while there are people like me who have chauffeurs to bring them to school.
I got off the car while Dong-ssi is waving goodbye at me. I got to know his name because he's a person with many stories. While my responses were very short, Dong-ssi took it lightly and told me some of his stories. I may not look like it, but I listened to his stories. Which I found amusing. His family has 1 daughter, 1 son, and his wife. They are living their lives simply.
Back to the present, I walked towards the school while slinging my blue knapsack on my shoulders. The school became noisy when I entered. The auditorium is still closed, I think.
"Wah, daebak. Who's that?"
I heard lots of whisperings while I'm walking to the campus. But I just ignored them. It's always been like that since primary, and I still don't care.
I found a spot to sit on so I went there and decided to check my surroundings. I am new in this campus so it would be bad if I got lost in my first day.
I am observing my surroundings when my eyes landed on someone familiar. Chest-length black hair, average height, and bubbly face. But this time, she's wearing the same yellow uniform for girls. Yeah, that's Sooyoung. I just ignored her for now since there's only a small chance we would meet.
I just sat there for 10 minutes until a I heard someone speak through the speakers.
- All students, please proceed to the auditorium. The ceremony will begin in 5 minutes. -
Well, that's that. Time to go to the auditorium, I guess.
