Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione appear on the beach that is right in front of the house that the Weasley family knows so well. Harry has Ginny in his arms as does Ron with Hermione. The sky is filled with grey clouds that has no essence of the sun within them with the background sounds of gentle waves crashing onto shore behind them. Harry looks around to see where they landed and looks down to Ginny within his arms, giving her a kiss on her head as a sign of love and gratefulness for her safety. Harry then helps Ginny up as she doesn't let go of him for a moment, as she is physically and emotionally drained from her traumatic "chat" with Bellatrix just a few moments ago. Also for knowing for a fact that they all could have been face to face with You Know Who or even death, is enough to make Ginny hold onto Harry for a little bit longer. Harry, with Ginny attached to him, walk over to Hermione and Ron who are a few feet away.
Harry- Hermione, Ginny, you're alright, we're safe. We're all safe.
Harry and Ginny hug Hermione and Ron so tightly, full of relief and love/thankfulness that they are all okay and in a safe place for once.
The moment of togetherness and relief ends quickly with a trembling voice from a short distance away.
"Harry Potter"
They all turn their heads to the voice as Harry gets up and starts to walk at a fast pace towards him.
Harry- Dobby.
Harry gets to Dobby as he falls into Harry's arms as Harry removes Bellatrix's knife that was thrown at his stomach during the apparition.
Harry- Hold on, hold on, just hold on, we'll fix you!
Harry then looks up to his three best friends, specifically Hermione.
Harry- Hermione, do you have something in your bag? Hermione?
His voice now begins to tremble a bit more and realizes quickly how there has to be something that can fix Dobby.
Harry- Help me!
Hermione and Ginny are in the arms of Ron as they are looking on sadly and helplessly as they all know that nothing they have can fix Dobby, it's too late.
Dobby- Such a beautiful place, to be with friends. I'm happy to be with my friend, Harry Potter.
And with that sentence, Dobby takes his final breath in Harry Potter's arms. Harry looks down at his friend who once, so long ago, caused him so much annoyance and frustration when actually he was trying to protect Harry against his Master's wishes, in which Dobby grew into a true friend and now hero, who sacrificed his entire life for the sake of his friends. Harry knew right in that moment what he had to do next, with a few tears running slowly down his damp and drained face. Luna approached Harry as she knelt down beside him. She suggests that they should close his eyes as Harry nods in agreement as Luna shuts them with a remark of thinking that he could be sleeping. Harry stays silent for a moment as he thinks of what they will do to him. Luna, Hermione, Ginny and Ron wait patiently to see what he will say next.
Harry- I want to bury him properly. Without magic.
There are no arguments or complaints as the group gets to work on creating a proper resting place for the fallen elf. They decide that they will bury him up in the sand dunes surrounded by light, blonde grass behind the cottage, as Harry digs a hole for the body as Hermione, Ron and Ginny gather Dobby in a blanket with some other things to put around his burial. They gather together to put Dobby in the sand and place sand on top of the blanket to bury him. Once they are done, Hermione and Ron stand together, looking solemnly at Dobby's grave stone as Ginny comforts Harry silently as they sit in front of the stone thinking about their friend and hero who they already miss deeply.
Without them even realizing, the grey clouds allowed the sun to come out as the light was once again shining even in the worst of their darkness.
