The next morning, I was in my room getting ready for the funeral when I was finished getting ready, I grabbed my eulogy off the desk. I left the room and walked downstairs I walked into the living room Rhys was sitting on the couch he's wearing an all-black suit and tie I sat beside him on the couch.

"Are you okay?"

"Not really I'm not ready to say good-bye to Rhamiel."

"I'm really sorry that this happened to you and Rhamiel." Rhys said gently.

"I blame my family and his family for this because they could have stopped this from happening, but they chose not to because our families didn't want to ruin their loyalty to their so-called God." I explained.

Rhys wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest.

"Our friends will meet us at the funeral home."

"I can't believe that they want to attend Rhamiel's funeral."

"My friends think your cool can I ask you a question." He said.

"Sure, what's on your mind?" I asked.

"Is blonde your natural hair color?"

"No, my natural hair color is black I'm the only one in my family with black hair and baby blue eyes my parents and sister have brown hair and hazel eyes. My parents made me wear a blonde wig so I would fit in with the rest of the angels, but I never fitted in when I lived in heaven no one understood me."

I removed the blonde wig and sat it on the arm of the couch I removed the cap that holds the wig in place and sat it on my wig. Rhys and I left the house I followed him to the garage Rhys opened the garage door and unlocked the car doors. Rhys and I walked inside the garage we climbed inside the car he put the key in the ignition and started the engine. Rhys backed the Cadillac out of the garage and drove up the street. He turned left and drove into the funeral parlors parking lot Rhys parked the Cadillac and killed the engine I put on my black hat and pulled the veil over my face. We climbed out of the car and walked over to Lilith, Elza, Gloom, Max, Luce, Sarah, Katreena, Mace, and Scarlet.

"Esme, Gloom and I would like to apologize for Thor's behavior at the park." Elza said.

"It's not your fault or Gloom's." I replied.

"How are you holding up?"

"I'm trying my best not to fall apart,"

We walked inside the funeral parlor Mrs. Natas greeted us I felt Rhys holding my hand his mother opened one of the french doors we stepped inside the room. The minute I saw Rhamiel laying in the casket I felt tears welling up in my eyes Rhys, Luce, Scarlet, Gloom, Lilith, Max, Elza, Katreena, Mace, and I sat in the front row. I was starting to shiver Rhys removed his suit jacket and draped it around my shoulders.

"Thank you," I said softly.

"You're more than welcome." He whispered.

I put my arms through the jacket I took a calming breath and walked to the podium in the corner of the room and started reading my eulogy.

"Thank you all for coming to pay your respects to Rhamiel even though you didn't know him, but I knew he would want this. Rhamiel and I grew up together he was my only best friend as we grew up our feelings for each other began to change. We knew the risks of dating each other Rhamiel and I hid our relationship from everyone we used to sneak out at night to see one another. We often talked about getting married and having a family of our own Rhamiel was sweet, kind, and caring he tried to make friends with everyone. I will miss seeing and talking to Rhamiel, I will miss his jokes he could always make me laugh I will always remember the good times I had with him."
