Chapter 10

The next morning when I woke up, I glanced over at Rhys, he was starting to stir he gazed at me and smiled. 

"Good morning."

"Good morning."

"Esme is it alright if I kiss you?" Rhys asked. 

"I don't mind." I said. 

Rhys leaned in and kissed me I snuggled up beside him, he wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest. 

"What would you like to do today?"

"I would like to spend the day with you." 

I climbed out of bed and got out my clothes. 

"You're going to undress with me in here?" He asked, gazing at me. 

"Yeah, I'm sure you've seen a woman's body before." I teased. 

"No, Emily never let me see her naked even though we were dating I never had sex with her, but Emily and I did sleep together."

"If your uncomfortable with me undressing in front of you I can get dressed in the bathroom." I offered. 

"You don't have to do that because of me I would like to see your body since you're my girlfriend." Rhys said. 

I walked over to the bedroom door and closed it I stood in the middle of the bedroom floor I removed my tank top and sleep shorts. I got dressed, I brushed my long raven-black hair and pulled it up in a high ponytail I walked into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom Rhys was making the bed, I kissed his cheek and left the room. I walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table. Rhys came into the kitchen he joined me at the table with his breakfast. 

"I'm sorry if I embarrassed you when I said that I would like to see your body."

"I wasn't embarrassed I felt touched that you wanted to see my body it was something I never got to do with Rhamiel." 

After breakfast Rhys and I were sitting on the couch watching TV. 

"Do you mind taking me to see my father's grave?" I asked. 

"No, I don't mind taking you to the cemetery." He said, turning off the TV and setting the remote down on the coffee table. 

Rhys and I left the living room we put on our hoodies Rhys grabbed his keys we left the house and walked inside the garage. Rhys and I climbed inside the car he opened the garage door on the remote Rhys put the key in the ignition and started the engine he backed the car down the driveway and drove down the street. 

"Rhys what kind of music do you listen to?"

"I like to listen to rock and metal. What about you?"

"I like rock and metal as well, but I wasn't a loud to listen to rock or metal I was stuck listening to stupid pop music." I said. 

"Rock and metal are accepted here." Rhys replied.

When we arrived at the cemetery Rhys turned right and entered the cemetery, he put the car into park and killed the engine we climbed out of the car. Rhys took me by the hand and led me to my father's grave we stood in front of the grave. 

"Hi. dad, I'm your daughter Esmeralda. I am so sorry that my mother used you I wish I could have met you. Lucifer told me that I look like you, I wish you could have raised me because I was raised in a home that I didn't feel welcomed I felt like an outcast. No one cared about me except for my best friend and boyfriend Rhamiel, I love you dad even though you never got to see me or knew about my mother being pregnant with me."
