Moon

An eclipse is when the moon covers the sun, creating a shade onto some part of the world. The sun was bright and then suddenly there wasn't light.

My eyes were closed but somehow I felt it all over again. Her smell. Lavender. I heard her laugh, so lively. I didn't have to open my eyes to know it was her that held me and picked me up.

I could die in that moment.

Yet, somehow, I chose to live and breathe her in one more time.
