Michelle's POV

I was lying in my bed when all of a sudden my phone rung. It's Ned calling.

"Hey,Ned", I say through the phone.

"Uh, hey, are you coming tonight? To Lilly's party?", he asks.

I don't know anyone in this town and I'm bored like hell staying my bed all day. But also , I don't want to go to a girl's party who got into a fight with me on my first day...

"Hello....where are you lost? Are you coming to the party or not? I can pick you up if you want.", Ned interrupts my thoughts.

"Umm, do you think it would be alright? I mean she wouldn't even want me there"

"Michelle, there are going to be so many people in the party. Do you really think she'll create a drama in front of them and that too on her birthday? Plus she's in a good mood today because of Harrison's surprise. I mean it's the best you leave your bed and enjoy one night in this new town."

"Hmm, maybe you're right but are you sure you can pick me up?", I ask for assurance.

"Yeah, I'm coming there to pick up Jack so it's not a problem for me."

"Oh okay then", I say.

"Okay then, see you, bye."

"Bye", I hang up.

I think about it for a while but then just realise that she wouldn't even care about me among others at the party and start to search for an outfit to wear for the night.

"Get ready, I'll pick you up at 9" a message from Ned pops up at my phone's screen.

"Okay :)", I text him back.

I put on a dress and look into the mirror. I looked like a mess but my sense of style is messed up so I decide to leave it as it is.

"Mom!" I shout from my room "Mom!"

"Yeah!" She answers and comes at the door. "What is it?", she asks.

"I'm going to a party tonight so I'll be late just to let you know that"

" I thought you were going to babysit your sister tonight"

"Sorry mom, but can you please manage it today...I promise I'll make it up to you", I open the door and lean towards her "please..".

"Okay but take care of yourself", she says while caressing my cheek.

"I will", i say.

She walks away and picks up Emily into her arms and says,"guess you'll get to spend some time with your sister some other day" she says while squishing her cheeks and kissing her.

Soon time passes and the clock strikes at 9.
I wear my shoes and grab my phone.
Five minutes later I hear the door bell ring and proceed towards the door but notice that my mom already opened it.

"Hey Mrs. Jones", Ned greets mom.

"Hello there what's your name, son?"

"Ned"

"Oh um, come sit down I'll call Michelle", she says.

"No need, mom, I'm here", I say "let's go Ned".

"Well okay stay safe guys and no drugs", she shouts standing at the door.

"Bye, mom!", I open the car door and sit at the backseat.

"Wow, you look...", Jack says while I get in the car.

"What?" I say.

"You look nice", he says.

"You too", Ned drives the car and I just sit there at the back in complete silence the whole time.

"We've reached guys", Ned says and stops in front of a big mansion "Get out, I'll just park the car and come inside." We get off the car and he speeds up to the parking lot.

"She's rich", I say to Jack.

"Yeah I know right", he says while smiling at me "come on, in".

As we get in the house I see Lilly and Haz sitting on the couch and one other girl drinking water in the kitchen.

"Where are the other people? " I whisper into Jack's ears while Lilly looks at me.

"What other people?", he asks when Lilly comes up to me and shakes my hand.

"Woah, who invited you here? I don't remember telling you about my party", she says looking into my eyes.

"Uh, Ned told me that it would be like any other party with  many people around."

"It's not just a regular party it's my birthday party I only wanted those people here who are important to me. Maybe Ned gave you the wrong information."

"I'm sorry I can leave if you want"

"No stay", she says with a grin on her face and tells me to sit on the other couch with Jack.

"What's up MJ?", Haz asks me.

"I'm good",I tell him. He smiles and leaves to go towards the kitchen where Lilly went.

"So you didn't know that this was a special party?", Jack asks.

"No!! and none of you bothered to tell me that in the car!" , my anger reflecting on my face.

"Woah, chill I thought Ned told you about that", he says.

"Anyways who was the other girl who just went upstairs?"

"Lilly's sister, Daisy", he says while Ned enters with some other boy in a black leather jacket. "The one coming in with Ned is Daisy's boyfriend charles", he continues to speak.

I nod and look at Ned with frustrated eyes and go up to him while the other guy walks up to Jack.

"Hey Jack! Buddy how are you?", Charles says.

"I'm good but you should go to your girlfriend first she seems a bit off"

"Yeah,where is she anyways?"

"Upstairs"

He pats Jack's back and runs upstairs.

"You!" I shout at Ned when I see Lilly and Haz enter the room. "I'll talk to you later ", I say in a low voice.

"Hey MJ, come here for a sec", Lilly says and puts her arm around my shoulders as the boys talk to eachother.

She walks with me and says,"I knew you came here by mistake and if you would've known you wouldn't have given a thought about it", well she isn't wrong.

"But since you're here", she continues "let's sort it out"

"You know", I say, " First of all, Happy birthday and I'm sorry about hitting you that day, I should've understood that it was a joke"

"Great, that you apologised or else I would have to give a long ass speech unless you would've apologised."

"God, you're such a bitch"
