• 4th grade (I'm 9) •
Me and Ava and Eva are still friends and love each other.
It was until we started talking about crushes. I had a crush on a handsome guy my age named Jake.
Jake Harms to be exact. He was teased and bullied like me. He talked me often, and he seemed to blush a lot but I never noticed it.
He always tried to impress me and every single time he did, it worked. He never knew that I had a crush on him.
And I wanted to keep it that way for a long time until like grade 8.
I loved him but I could never tell him but I told my besties and they tried to get me to tell him it I never did.
They believed in me and I knew it for the longest time.

A month passed and Ryan still teases me and Jake. At the same time too, he tells Jake he's a nerd, while me he says I'm ugly.
Ryan liked to lock me and Jake in lockers or in washroom stalls.
When he did, he would laugh or leave and leave me and him trapped and screaming for help.
Jake would try to break open the door but it never worked. Me in anger would scream to try to get out.
"There's no use, we're stuck here." Jake said out of breath. "I wish we could get out of here." I say before Ryan comes back in, telling us to get out.
I pushed past Ryan and left the washroom. I went right to Ava and Eva. They were waiting for me like usual.
Ryan seemed pretty angry when I pushed him though. But I didn't care, I just wanted to not be in a stall.
I saw Jake speed walking behind me. Probably to catch up on me. "Hey wait Gabbie!" Jake said between breaths.
I however kept walking not noticing Jake at all. Well until he tapped my shoulder. "Yeah?" I ask.
"You were walking to fast for me to catch up." Jake said.

Almost every single day was a repeat.
