Chapter One: Where am I

Here is the first chapter I hope you like it, I am sorry ahead of time because this chapter is not proof read. Hehehe... There will be author notes at the end of the this chapter, so stick around and read.

"Arisa...Arisa, come on honey it is time to wake up. We have to drop you off at Aunt Clara's".
Arisa's eyes slowly open to see a figure of a woman standing over her, but she can not see the woman's face just her smile. Even without seeing the woman's face, Arisa knows that it is her mom. Arisa tries to say something but nothing comes out of her mouth. Arisa wants to scream "Do not go, please just stay here with me" but her mouth just will not form the words. Arisa's mom starts walking away but Arisa can not get up from the bed. It is like her body is paralyzed and Arisa can only look on with sadness as she sees her mom walk away from her. By the time Arisa can move her body, she is in a forest somewhere. It is so cold that Arisa can feel herself start to shiver. While looking around Arisa sees her mother at the end of a trail but she is not alone. Arisa's mom is standing next to a person that Arisa is sure that is a man. It is her father, they are both holding hands and smiling at her. Arisa runs towards them but either they keep getting further or she is not going anywhere. Arisa tries screaming for her parents but they just smile and soon their smiles turn sinister. Arisa hears laughing beside her but when she turns nobody is there. When Arisa looks towards her parents they are closer but still too far to clearly see their faces.
Arisa starts to open her mouth to ask her parents why but the words get caught in her mouth because her parents start laughing and there is blood on them. Arisa starts backing away from them but trips over something on the ground. Arisa looks on the ground to see what she tripped on but all she sees is blood. When Arisa looks at her body she is covered in blood but she does not feel any pain. Arisa looks in front of her and what she saw made her scream.
It was a body torn in half, the head was ripped off the body and Arisa can see the persons intestines.
"Oh do not be scared my darling because you will be next" a voice says next to Arisa. Arisa can feel goosebumps on her arms, she can hear footsteps getting closer. Arisa is so terrified and she can hear her heartbeat. Next thing Arisa knows is that there is screaming, it was so loud and it was hurting her ears. Arisa closes her eyes and covers her ears to muffle the screaming. It takes Arisa awhile to realize that the screaming was coming from her mouth. Arisa started screaming louder when she felt hands on her shoulder.
"Arisa wake up, it is just a nightmare. You need to breathe! Arisa."
Arisa can still feel someone shaking her but she does not want to open her eyes because she is scared to see who it is.
"Arisa please just wake up, it is me Sammy. You are safe here."
Arisa wakes up to her own screaming with tears streaming down her face. Arisa can feel someone rubbing her back and telling her soothing words but she does not register who it is.
"Come on Fox, just breathe with me. In and out. In and out. That is good just take your time."
Hearing that voice and feeling the comfort the person is giving her, helps Arisa calm down. After calming down, Arisa turns to her side and sees Sammy's tired face smiling back at her. Arisa tries to say thank you and sorry but her throat just felt so raw.
"Shh. You do not have to say anything, just rest ok. I will bring you some warm tea for your throat."
Before Arisa can reply, Sammy is already heading out the room, probably to make the tea that she offered. Arisa turns to her side to look at the clock on her table, to see that it is 4:28AM. Arisa sighs and looks down sadly, she can not stop feeling guilty for waking Sammy up this early. Arisa is just grateful that Clara is out of town for business.
Arisa takes some time to think about the dream she just had, well nightmare is more like it. Just thinking about the dream gives Arisa shivers. The most craziest thing was that she could have sworn she recognized the body that was torn in half but she could not think of the name.
Arisa is still thinking about her dream by the time Sammy comes back to the room carrying two cups of tea that she is blowing gently on. Once Sammy gets closer to the bed, she hands one cup to Arisa and then climbs on the bed.
"Move over Fox, I am cold and I want some covers".
Arisa rolls her eyes and laughs at the nickname Sammy called her.
" I can not believe that you still call me that nickname" Arisa says as she moves over to give Sammy room on the bed.
"Well of course I do, I have been calling you that nickname since we were kids. You look like a fox, you are sly like a fox and your middle name reminds me of a fox" Sammy jokingly says as she gets comfortable on the bed.
"How does my middle name sound like a Fox" Sammy just gives Arisa a pointed look.
"Vixen is similar to a fox and you know it. Do not try to deny it Fox"
Arisa laughs and shoots back a response with her own nickname that she has for Sammy, "Of course, you are always right Queen Sammy"
"And do not forget it" Sammys smiles and bops Arisa on the nose as if she is a child, even though they are the same age.
They both relax, sip their tea and snuggle on the bed together for awhile as they sit in silence.
"Sorry for waking you up, I thought I had these nightmares under control". Arisa sadly says to Sammy after they sat in silence for awhile.
Sammy turns to Arisa to give her a tired sad smile because she knows how hard this is for Arisa.
"It is not your fault that you keep having these nightmares. Also how do you know that I was not already awake?"
Arisa just looks at Sammy as if to say 'you were up at 4AM'
Sammy just rolls her eyes and laughs at Arisa's expression, knowing that she would not believe her lie.
"Ok you got me, I was sleeping in my bed. Do not feel bad though because it is not your fault. Now stop worrying fox! Got it?"
Arisa sighs before replying back to Sammy.  "Ok if you are sure but I will still feel guilty"
"Really I am fine. The real concern is you, not me. How are you feeling?"
Arisa really does not want to talk about her nightmare and what she saw but she will feel guilty if she does not answer Sammy.
"I am fine, just a little shaken. It was the same dream but we were in the forest somewhere and then the rest is a blur." Arisa answers partly because she does not want to tell Sammy about the dead body in her nightmare.
"It was the dream about your parents then?"
"Yeah..."
"It has been awhile since you have had that dream. I wonder why you are having that dream now". Sammy says thoughtfully, trying to figure out an answer to her own question.
Arisa keeps quiet not because she does not know the answer to the question but because she has been having these dreams a lot lately. The only thing is that they were all the same type of nightmares with only some changes here and there. This nightmare was so intense and that has never happened to Arisa before. Arisa is just so happy that Clara is not here because if she was the person to wake her up from her nightmare then she would send Arisa back to her therapist. Arisa can not stand that therapist so she does all that she can to not see him. Speaking of Clara, now Arisa has to beg Sammy not to tell her mom.
" Hey Sammy, can you please not tell Aunt Clara about me having this nightmare and waking up scream. I really do not want her to worry." Arisa can see on Sammys face the conflict feelings she has with my question. Before Sammy can give her reply, Arisa gives Sammy her best puppy eyes. Sammy has such a weakness for Arisas puppy eyes and she can not resist them no matter how hard she tries.
"Ugh fine but if you have another one, especially one that is this violent and intense then I have to tell her. I do not want anything bad to happen to you. You are my best friend and my sister." Sammy hugs Arisa.
Arisa give Sammy one of her most sincere smiles and she hugs her back.
"Thank you so much, you do not know how much i appreciate it."
"It is fine, now finish your tea and try to get some rest because we have school tomorrow."
"Ugh do not remind me. I hate that school and I just want to go to graduate already and be done with high school" Arisa says as she wrinkles her nose in disgust.
Sammy laughs at my response and agrees with Arisa because she know that it is true.
Arisa and Sammy finish their tea and then head to bed to get as much sleep as they can before they have to get ready for school.
As Arisa drifts off to sleep all she can think about is the body that was in her nightmare and why her deceased parents were covered in blood, laughing like crazy people. That is the last thought she has before drifting off to sleep.

Ok that is it for the first chapter, I hope you enjoyed it and it has piqued your interest. I have no idea when I will be posting chapter two but I will be working on it now.
Do y'all want an introduction chapter on the characters ( especially the main characters) or we can just skip that part?
