Everything went from a well-lit room and embracing mood, and a luxurious dining room down to this.

It happened so instantly.

The table that was set properly, complemented with an assortment of mouth-watering delicacies, has now become a shard of memory.

"No, no, no.." This can't be happening. "Mom, do you hear me?"

I gently shook her limp and unconscious body, which I carefully cradled against mine, while forcing myself not to break apart. I can even hardly define her features as shadows draped the entire room.

Everything is pitch black and the only thing that I can see is the moonlight reflected on the windowsill at the other side of the room. I kept on searching for anything in the room while holding tight to my Mom's weakened physique.

I need to bring her to the nearest healing facility as early as possible.

"Reina, take this." I heard Rocky's voice a few feet away.

Turning my head towards the sound, I came about a surprise. Rolling towards my direction is a capped bottle of glowing, swirling amber liquid.

Magus.

I hastily grabbed the bottle and effortlessly uncapped it. The liquid shortly began to evaporate, leaving a trace of weak light trails. Suddenly, I felt a surge of energy wash over me.

"Rocky, come here. I'll bring us to Claire's." I reached out, feeling his furry body draw by my side.

And with a tap on the floor, the room seemed to veer around, transporting us to the front of a familiar residence in the forest.

It's cold outside.

The streets are covered in layers of white, as the roofs and yards, as the trees outside. Well, it's definitely winter.

The snow is continuously falling from the sky, landing gently on what awaits below. Children are busy playing with lumps of snow and forming them into a variety of snow figures.

I wanna play, too.

"Mom," I yelled out from the living room. I'm currently sitting in a brown couch, touched with intricate golden details by the window.

"Yes, Honey?" Mom replied, still busy with baking moon glaze cookies in the kitchen. The scent of baked goods filled the entire place, which fits just right with my own appetite.

I wiggled my toes as I slid off the couch to reach the floor. I shot up, eagerly running off towards the kitchen door while bringing my velvet red coat with me.

"Mom, may I go out and play?" I pleaded. "I wanna show to my friends how quick I am in making snow figures! Please, Mom." I begged, squeezing my palms tightly together.

She chuckled, wiping off her hands with her apron. "Alright."

I beamed, "Really?"

"Really. But wait for a moment, Honey. I'll join you outside," she added.

I immediately ran towards the door and returned as to where I was sitting a while ago. Many of my friends are currently practicing with their wielding techniques to form snow statues and figurines. Ugh, I can't wait to go out there and show what I can do.

I heard footsteps from behind and turned around to see Mom heading towards me. She brought a pair of white gloves with a golden lining along the wrist.
