Naomi POV

"I-I...it's old.. " I stumbled over my words, not knowing what to say exactly. I mean what can I say?

" Nahh Naomi take the bandaid off. " Kd shook his head pointing at the bandaid.

I instantly shook my head no, backing away from him a bit.

" That's why you always wearing a jacket. " Kentrell added making me groan a little.

" Can we go to sleep and forget this ever happened? "

" No. I wanna know why you feel like dats' what you gotta turn to. " Kd added more.

" Should've just listened to me. " I heard Kassidy say from behind me.

" Y'all wouldn't get it. I'm fine with that. "

" Mane half of tha' time they be jocin'. I know I care bout you mane. What if you do some extreme one day like actually killing yourself? " Ben spoke up catching all of our attention.

" I've been dead on the inside for years and it takes people to see cuts to care. " I mumbled.

Staring at me, I saw Kd let a small tear out making me sigh. I didn't even notice I meant that much to him. We barely talked over summer so I thought we only had a school-friendship.

Without taking much thought, I hugged Kd making him return the gesture. "Promise me you gon' stop. "He spoke not breaking our embrace. I nodded my head hugging him a little tighter.

It felt good to have someone who actually cared about me showing me some type of affection. The simple words he spoke and the hug made me good.

Better than I have in a long time.

I always promise myself I'll stop, but it's like bad things would happen so suddenly. Which is better, going back to something you already know the results of or taking a new route?

" Say, you ain't gotta tell us whateva' it nie, but once you feel more comfortable you gotta say something ight? " Ben suggested making me nod and wipe my now tear-filled face. I didn't even know I was crying.

After giving Ben a hug as well, I walked back over to my bed and laid back down.

" What a fucking night. " Three said as he went to hit the lights. We all laughed a little, getting comfortable in our spots.

" Goodnight guys. " I spoke as I closed my eyes.

" Goodnight. "

" Kentrell move over. " I whispered tiredly as I could feel him snuggled against me from behind. At first I thought I was dreaming until I could hear Kd's loud ass snores.

Kentrell huffed as he wrapped himself from around me and laid on his back.

" Mane Three ass right here on me. " He whispered back at me. " That doesn't mean I wanna cuddle. "
