It wasn't long after Changbin joined their team that they realized with the current growth of crime in their town that they will really need more people to join them in their fight as Haneul himself can only take so much before getting burned out.
So the trio took a day off filming, disguised themselves and went hunting for more people to join them, in the end, their search seemed like it will have no result as they haven't found anyone that could really be of use with Haneul, or their powers were just too similar or they already worked, of course, they didn't mention who they were recruiting for as that would give away their identity but they just asked around saying they were university students who majored in journalism and were busy with a school project.
But with their endless wandering, they ended up at a garden nursery, although their search didn't go as they wanted they still could use some green in their dark apartment.
So they headed into the store greeted the lady who owned it and ended up going to the greenhouse, as they were walking they heard laughter, which they found funny because they saw no one in the greenhouse.
"It's a bit cold in here huh? Sorry, I tried to fix the heating but it was a mess" they heard a deep voice say, curiously they started looking around to find whoever the voice belonged to.
In the end, they found the boy, he was sitting on the ground next to a flowering Day-Lily plant, the three looked at him trying to understand why the boy was talking to a plant which couldn't communicate back to him.
"And then I made it rain instead of giving you sunshine, the sunflowers were really upset with me, don't even get me started on the roses," the boy said as the ran a petal of the lily between his thumb and pointer finger.
The three watched in amusement as the boy kept ranting about how he messed up and now the flowers were upset with him, they found it adorable. Haneul eventually stepped forward as he knew a thing or two about electricity so he might be able to help the poor kid.
As he got closer he realized the boy had freckles dusting his face he could just smile at the sight of them. "Hi... Sorry, I didn't mean to eavesdrop but maybe I can help, my father runs an electric shop so I know somethings maybe I can help you with the heating" He said.
The boy was shocked of course, who wouldn't be suddenly this tall guy is approaching you, the guy didn't look like he could harm a fly really but he did have a strange aura to him which scared the boy a bit, but that was mainly because the boy looked up to the guy a lot.
"Oh my you are Haneul" He muttered but Haneul heard him, Haneul let out a little laugh.
"That I am, but how did you know it's me through this?" he asked pointing to his had and mask.
"I'm entirely sure, just something about you gave it away... also about the heating, they would really love the help, especially those roses, they can be quite mean" the boy said which made the three boys laugh.
"Okay then show the way... Uhm I never got your name" Haneul said.
"Oh sorry, the name is Felix," The boy said to them but it didn't take much for Chan to recognize the boy's accent when he said his name.
"Aussie?" was all Chan said and the boy lit up.
"Aussie" the boy replied, and Chan got really excited.
"No way! Guys, he is like me an Aussie~" he said happily
"So my mind wasn't messing with me when I heard you speak English on your videos, I was confused because Haneul said that you guys are friends since you both were young," Felix said.
"Yeah we became friends once he returned from Australia we were in the same class since then up until high school graduation," Haneul said.
"Ah I see, anyways heating let me show the way, you guys must be busy and here I am blabbering about nonsense," Felix said and started leading the way.
While Haneul was busy repairing the heating, Changbin and Chan stood talking to Felix getting to know him more.
"So you can talk to plants?" Changbin asked.
"Yep well nature in general actually it is a power passed down in my family" Felix explained, that was the exact reason his family owned the garden nursery in the first place their power was of best use there.
"Do you have any other powers?" Chan asked curiously.
"Hmm yep, but I haven't trained them at all... none of my other family members have any powers close to them, so I don't know how to use them" He explained "I can turn invisible, manipulate weather and I can bend light" he said to them and they looked at him really happily... his powers could be of great use to him and Chan had the expertise to train him as he did study up a lot once they decided to find more heroes to add to their team.
"Have you ever thought of becoming a superhero?" Changbin asked.
"That would be cool but I can activate my powers when I want to so I would be quite a useless hero don't you think?" Felix responded
"What if you join me? Channie does all my training he is an expert when it comes to superpowers" Hanuel suddenly chipped in. Felix was confused at first what did he mean?
"You got to keep this a secret but Haneul is Elemental, but with the rise in crime lately and with how active all the villains are right now he can't handle them on his own" Chan explained to Felix, the younger pondered over it, the three had no reason to lie to him but he couldn't just believe it as well he was skeptical but he was also really desperate to learn how to control his powers, especially with the whole weather thing since he didn't want any more roses to threaten him.
"I don't really believe you but I want to learn to control my powers so I will trust you for now... " the boy said to them, Changbin and Chan lit up like Christmas trees, and Haneul smiled happily.
"FELIX!" the boy heard his mom call him
"Over here by the heating mom" he called back.
Soon enough they saw a lady walking over to them, she had dirt on her face and clothes.
"There you are, can you help me move those big pots? They are really heavy" she said paying attention to her son and not seeing the three others.
"Sure mom, but can I do it a bit later," he said and side-eyed the three boys, Changbin and Chan who stood closer to him and Haneul who was busy closing the box for the heating.
"Oh~ Sorry I didn't even see you, Honey are these your friends?" Felix shook his head a bit, they weren't exactly friends, right? They just met.
"Uhm this is Chan and Changbin, and that is Haneul... they run a Youtube channel called Song Music Supply, they heard me complaining to the lily's so Haneul helped me fix the heating..." Felix explained.
"And... also gave me the opportunity to join them in uhm" He didn't know if he was allowed to tell his mom, he knew she wouldn't mind too much as she was always a big fan of superheroes.
"Oh, we invited Felix to join Elemental to fight crime," Chan said motioning to Haneul when he said Elemental, he felt that he should probably get her permission before dragging her son on crime-fighting adventures.
"But he isn't trained to fight really are you sure?" she asked the boys, she wasn't as worried she knew her son would do amazing if he could just get the proper training he needed.
"I studied a lot of superpowers, I train Haneul most of the time so I don't mind taking on another hero, especially if it meant the people of our town would be safer," Chan told her, he was surprised that she wasn't suspicious or even shocked to know who Haneul actually is.
"Well then if you want to do it Felix go for it, but remember to come to help out here from time to time okay? Your father isn't as young as he once was he can't move all the heavy things anymore" she said and Felix was beaming happily.
"Of course thank you, mom," he said and hugged his mom.
And so Felix's training started and they were preparing to beat some criminal ass
