She knew he was nothing but pure pain. She saw the dark ink etched into his long arms. She saw the metal pierced into his dark eyebrows. The way his pale hands clenched into fists when someone accidentally brushed his shoulder.
Beau was always peculiar, and never let a question go without being answered. She understood she was nosey, but would quickly tell people, "It's for a reason. Everything has a reason".
No one looked at Beau like she saw herself. They saw a girl with too many questions and not enough answers. To the outsiders she was odd and unexplainable.
But to him, oh she was unique. He could explain her. He could explain her wondrous eyes, and the way her body pinched in at the hips, how her head fell to the left side when she was thinking deeply, and when it fell to the right, she was tired. He studied her in ways he thought impossible. When she wasn't looking, he'd bite his lip, take in her beautiful presence, and turn away from her. He felt all self control vanish when she was around.
Beau was like no other. She was infuriating, passionate, and filled with such difference.
And that's exactly what he wanted.
