"NO DON'T TOUCH ME MONEY SPONGEBOB" screamed out maddie. "BUT YOU HAVE SO MUCH IT'S ONLY FAIR" i yelled right back. yes, we're playing spongebob and i'm having fun. i've never had a real friend before and i really hope maybe one day, maddie will be my friend. "so Dem, wanna watch a movie?" maddie asks wiggling her eyebrows. "we have Spongebob" she says while trying to hold in her giggle, "or bob the builder?" laughing hysterically at her movie picks, i walk over to her bed and sit on it. "or we can work on that project?" i say trying to be serious. "because that's the whole reason i came here today." Maddies's face turned expressionless and she stormed out of the room. what did you say now demi? "maddie, i'm sorry. i never meant to make you mad" i say while following her into the washroom.
maddie grabs my hands and holds them close to her body. her eyes glistened with tears while she looked at me. "Demi please don't be sorry. this isn't your fault. i just wanted a friend. and to be honest i thought you were perfect me. i'm really sorry." tears started falling down maddie's face faster than a sink. i don't know what to do. i gently took maddies face in my hand and wiped the tears. "it's okay beautiful. i am your friend, and i'll always be."
