In the Morning
I was sitting on my bed, I had finally woken up from the best dream ever.
It was a place full of all kinds of beans...even jelly beans.
I saw that my room door was open halfway.
I quickly knew who was the culprit...
"Ariyez!" My baby chihuahua
It's Ari and my name together.
Life is so boring without her smiles and laughter that brighten up the day.
I hope she's alright...
I need to see her.
I went to the bathroom across the hall and washed up so I can smell delicious!
Dreaming about beans make me want some beans, I grabbed a can of chili beans and ate them.
"Mom! I'm going to Ari's house, I'll probably sleep over, but in case I don't...I'll call you."
"Alright Yez, just be good! I'm going to have some sleep now."
I have a single mother, my dad abandoned us when I was 5, I forgot how he looked, but I can never forget his tone of voice. He was always arguing with mom. It got me so mad that I even bit his leg to stop yelling. He got really mad and left the house for 2 days, but eventually came back.
The last time I saw him was when my mom broke a bottle on his head and he ran away. He has a strong skull.
I grabbed my headphones and IPod then headed to Ari's home.
I was finally in front of my best friends house.
I had an extra key to their house so I just entered.
"Hey son, long time no see." Ari's dad is like the father I never had, I love him a lot and cherish the son and father moments we sometimes have.
"We saw each other 2 days ago." I laughed
"You here for Dhari?"
"Yeah, is she still sleeping?"
"Yup..." , he shook his head side to side, "She's a heavy sleeper." He added
"Well she won't be sleeping for long." I went upstairs and saw her snoring
"Ari, why aren't you like other girls? Sleep with your mouth half closed not all the way open."
"Why?" I heard Ari speak
"Are you talking to me?" Surprisingly this is the first time I heard her sleep talk.
"Yes, you!" My eyes widened
"Get your butt over here!"
"Woah, woah, woah...you don't tell me what to do!" I laughed
"Shhh, shhh, did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"I..."
"Yes?"
"I...farted." She started to giggle
I face palmed myself.
"Your so hot and mysterious..." She said confused
"Well...thank you best friend." I smiled
"I love your pair of blue eyes."
"I don't have blue eyes..." I frowned
Maybe she wasn't talking to me.
Well I need to wake her up.
