Recap:

Yeziel and Dhari ALMOST kissed, but unfortunately for you DhariyeZ (Dharialys & Yeziel) fans Hayes had to come in to the room and interrupt.

Hayes POV

I texted Nash and asked him if he knew Ari's dads phone number.

He said 'yes', but ended it with teasing me about Ari.

I dialed in her dad's phone number and waited 'till he answers.

"Hello? Mr.Rivera?" I asked conscious of what I was about to ask.

"Yes, who's this?"

"This is Hayes, one of your daughters kinda friends."

"Oh, Umm. What's wrong?"

"Would it be okay for me to come over and hang out with your daughter...and her best friend?"

"Of course! You can just come right over she's in the guest room with Yeziel."

Wow, he must really trust him if he leaves her alone with Yazial...or however you say his name.

"Thanks, Mr. Rivera." I smiled

"Buddy, call me Burt. That's not my whole name, but I'm comfortable with you calling me by my nickname."

"Thank you Mr...I uh mean Burt." I laughed and ended the call with a casual 'bye'.

*Knock Knock*

I waited outside of Ari's front door by the stairs.

I noticed that her parents house wasn't small, but it wasn't huge either. It was a good size for four people:

Ari, her dad, her mom, and her sister...unless she has a brother, then five people live there comfortably.

The door opened showing a very tall middle aged man. It was Ari's dad.

"Welcome! Did your brother come?" He asked looking around behind me

"No sorry, he's making a vine with Cameron."

"Oh really? Who's this Cameron?"

"His best friend."

"Oh...what are they making?"

"I don't know. Something about a challenge and they have to guess things about the other person and if they don't get it right then the guy asking questions has to dump food over them..I think."

"Well nice talking to 'ya, but you can go upstairs now."

"Thanks Mr...I mean Burt." I walked upstairs and knocked on the door quietly, but didn't hear anything so I just entered, "Hey guyssss...Umm I'm sorry I'll just go." Yeziel's arms are snaked around Ari's waist...I was shocked.

I was just weirded out...I thought there was nothing going on.

Well, it's not like I care. I just know she's beautiful. I dorm have a thing for her.

"Hayes! Wait! We weren't doing anything! I can explain." She had run after me and now we're in the middle of the hallway staring at each other except she feels uncomfortable.

"It's okay, you don't have to explain. If there is something going on between you two then it's fine, it's not like we have something going on." I looked at the floor to hide the awkwardness.

"I thought...we umm would." She whispered really low to herself, but I heard her clearly.

"What?" I asked pretending like I didn't hear her

"Nothing, it's nothing. Your right, we have nothing going on." She didn't look at me, she seemed more concentrated on her foot.

"So uh, do you wanna hang out?" She asked making the tension between us get smaller

"Yeah, sure." I replied still taking interest in the polish wooden floor

"Hey uhh Hayes." Yeziel said awkwardly

"Hey." I looked at him carefully, he seemed nervous, but irritated.

"I'm sorry for barging in like that." I apologized half heartedly

"It's okay, nothing was good was going on anyways," he had a sarcastic tone, but you can barely notice it.

"What were you two talking about?" He asked, curiously looking at Ari

"I asked him if he wanted to hang out with us."

"He won't be hanging out with me, sorry. I gotta go home now."

"Why?"

"I forgot to call my mom last night."

"Awe, but you're gonna leave me?" She formed a pout on her face

"You have Hayes." His smile was neutral

"But I barely know him! You're my best friend!" She whined

"Ow, that hurt." I claimed falsely

Yeziel smirked.

I started to think he was my competition.

Well if that's how it's gonna be then let the games begin.
