Vergils POV
Vergil took a walk through the streets of Lynchburg, Virginia in his blue coat. He was alone for the most part, aside from the bystanders he came across.
He snorted as he looked around the place. Dante had wanted to come over here for the holidays and somehow he had got dragged along for the celebrations. It was not because of his son whatsoever, Vergil had convinced himself. He wasn't leaving for that reason...he was just enjoying the holidays--
Vergil groaned knowing that wasn't even really true. He didn't want to admit that it was because of that questioning look Nero would always give him. The where-were-you-when-I-was-growing-up look that reminded Vergil of his own guilt over not knowing of his son until now. Vergil didn't want to think about that or anything to do with his son.
He had spent the last few hours in a car with Dante, Lady and Trish just trying to get here in the first place. He wanted to make up for the time of dealing with Lady kicking his seat and screaming at Dante about her debt while they all ate pizza. Vergil wanted to forget the smell of pizza entirely. How could his brother eat so much?
He shook his head as if he could shake all these thoughts away when he approached a Starbucks. Speaking of getting the smell of pizza off of his mind, he walked straight through the door to welcome the aroma of coffee. Ah, coffee!
He noticed a woman dressed in a Starbucks uniform who had pulled back (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes. Vergil watched the way she moved as she carried several cups of coffee to some customers.
Suddenly her hand slipped and she gasped as she dropped a cup of coffee right into Vergil's hand. She gaped when she saw him holding it right up to her with a smirk on his face.
"Missing this?" he asked smugly.
She nodded and took it from him. "Good catch!"
Vergil took the time to observe her and noticed her name tag said (Y/N).
She was busy handing out the cups of coffee to customers when he said, "(Y/N), that's a pretty name."
"How'd you..." she cut herself off and laughed as she cranked her head to look at her name tag. "It says it right there." She offered him another smile clearly amused at her own slight clumsiness. "And you are?"
"Vergil."
"Vergil...what else?"
Vergil sighed. "Sparda. Vergil Sparda."
"I like your name!" the girl chirped. "So, why don't you sit down and you can see what's on the menu."
Vergil took a glance at the menu and looked back up at her. "What do you recommend?"
"I really enjoy (C/T)."
"Then we'll both have (C/T)."
(Y/N) raised her eyebrows at that. "We'll both?"
