Chapter 17: "Sacrifice"

Im sorry for the long wait Earthlings! i have been busy this past few days... that i forgot to update.. and also i was being lazy... XP

Well here's chapter 17 and 3 more chaps until its finished i think..

Author's POV:

As Lucy known as the Dragon princess..

no..

the dragon queen... has arrived to her last form.. the form that she hoped it can save the lives of the people she loves and care..

She had enough of the war that has gone through decades...

She will end this horrible war.. for good.. to finish .. the role of her now deceased mother... 

"Lets end this.." she whispered and threw the deathly glare at Zeref... she do want to forgive Zeref but now its too late.. so many pain and sufferings can be seen.. And she hate it..

"This time you will pay!!!" Lucy shouted on top of her lungs.. 

Varied colors.. and light.. emitted from her.. her body glowing.. and it rose up.. 

THe one Amari feared.. the day she feared has happened.. the Queen.. she once cared and loved.. the person who was entrusted to her by Queen Layla.. the most respected of all..

Now.. the recent Queen... has conclude to sacrifice herself.. for all.. and to end this ruthless war..

After the lights was reflected.. it stopped... but suddenly.. a lot more came.. 

THe sign that proved she succeeded in obtaining the last form.. the form that will lead to her death.. and to the safety of others..

A tear started to flicker.. on her now rage filled eyes.. she's determined to do this... no one can stop her.. even..

Natsu..

Lucy.. shot Zeref with all her might.. sucking her life form off..

Zeref smiled as pain started to engulf his body.. the body he thought that wouldnt ever be damaged...

"Hm... so.. it was the queen who went for me.. That was unexpected..." Zeref whispered and accepted his death... 

All he wanted was death.. he wanted to stop in hurting anymore lives... He risked everything to just die.. and even broke his vow to himself not to kill.. but he had to.. 

to stop his madness from spreading.. 

Finally, he found death.. that he wanted...

But what had happened to Lucy? 

The queen now laying down... on the ground.. lifeless.. and reeks of death... Kneeling next to her... is the person she loves.. and careed so much.. that she took everything for him to live..

However.. her death was enough to kill him.. not physically but emotionally.. it hurts more than any battle and fights he had.. a big part of him was took.. when he found her.. lifeless.. and eyes.. reflected nothing..

He carried her... and squeezed her tightly.. as if.. trying to wake her up.. 

Tears started to form.. the tears that he did not ever shed.. but for her.. and only her..

No one can ever replace the love he had for Lucy..

Dragons mate once... and can never find any partner again.. if the other died.. 

He tried reminiscing the time he had with each other.. the time he should have treasured..

The pain he felt.. as he stagger away.. lifeless.. while carrying her body.. towards somewhere.. where he can live together with HER..

again..

But... is she really dead?

Or just in deep sleep?
