Summer Love

Chapter 1

"Katty! Katty! Katty!" Mac shouted as he keep bouncing on my bed

"What?" I groaned still asleep

"Wakeeyy Wakeeyy!" Mac shouted, smiling at me

"I'm already awake young boy, silly"I smiled at him "Go downstairs I'll be there soon"

"Okay" I watched him as he leaved my room

So, today's the day that we're traveling to Florida. Were gonna go to my grandparents house there. So I'm a bit excited.

My older brother Parker won't be with us today and for the next couples of days. So that means he will just follow in Florida. He need to finish their last soccer tournament this season and after this season it's already summer!

Were gonna spend our summer vacation in Florida. I'm so looking forward in spending our vacation in Florida.

As I made my way downstairs Dad and Mac are already in the couch watching some movie.

"Good Morning" I greeted them as I joined them

"Good Morning Young Lady" Dad greeted me back "So are you already packed?"

"Kinda, just gonna put some few stuffs"

"That's good"

"C'mon guys! Breakfast is served" Mom shouted

We all proceeded in the dining room. Cereals are waiting for me and my lil brother. While bread, eggs and bacon are waiting for Dad.

"Katty are you already packed?" Mom asked as she poured some orange juice in my glass

"I packed my whole closet" I chuckled

"Silly" Mac interuppt while playing in his ipad

"Did you not" Mom warned

"Mom, you know I'm a light traveller" I winked at her

"I take that as you-have-a-good-sleep" Mom nodded

I just laughed. You know sometimes, I'm so silly

I was wearing a black high waisted pants, camouflage crop top and a pair of black combat boots, my hair pulled back in a ponytail.

I reapplied my pink lip balm and tap some few lipstick. My eyes are already glamour in a mascara and a light touch of eyeliner. I have my one last look in the mirror before I grab my suitcases.

"Ya ready?" Dad asked

"Ready" I smiled at him

"Were gonna go to Florida!" Mac exclaimed as he join us in the garage

"You're so excited young boy" I smiled at him as I tap his nose

"Can't wait to meet granny and grandpa"

"Patience lil boy" I giggled "Come on, hand me your bags"

"Katty, your suitcases are the ones who made the compartment full" Dad says as he arrange the suitcases in the compartment

I chuckled "Sorry. Let me carry the others"

Dad handed me the other suitcases and we're all in.

Silence filled the car on our way to airport.

Dad spent it by drumming his fingers on the steering wheel to the beat of the song playing in my phone

Mac spent it by playing games on his ipad
